Ordered this weekend to pick up some cupcakes and cheesecake sampler as a treat for myself and my partner for Valentine’s Day. Every single cheesecake flavor we ordered is amazing! The cupcakes are moist and delicious as well, even days later. Her customer service was extraordinary, the owner mistakenly under-charged me and when I asked if she needed more money she humbly declined. As if that wasn’t enough, she then informed me she had added to my order to avoid having to throw other items away. I asked her again if I could pay her more but she didn’t let me. I will definitely be back and recommend her to anyone for any event big or small! She will absolutely take care of you!

First of all the staff was very helpful and delightful. I was here to pick up my daughter’s cake and I was not expecting to get anything extra, but since I’m a veteran I was offered a discount and even more if you pay in cash! The owner’s daughter Ilicia was so thoughtful that she even provided me with a birthday sign and pink plastic butterfly’s to put on top of the cake! I truly support small businesses like this. If you happen to be around the Moline area I highly recommend giving them a try. I’ll follow up on the cheesecake and cupcakes.
Update, the cheesecake was soft and creamy and the cupcakes were delicious, airy cake and the icing was light and fluffy, just right by not being too sweet! Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday a little sweeter!

First I want to start by saying that I was very excited to work with Little Brown Box for my wedding day. I have gotten lunch there a few times and it was very good. The communication/ordering was easy, which was nice. We ordered a grazing table and wedding cake from them (the wedding cake was added only a few weeks before our wedding, after our first plan didn’t work out). The price was very fair which was great! However, the problems came on the wedding day. They showed up (around a hour late from what I was told) with my cake that was falling apart. It was melted because they seemingly frosted it while it was still warm. Thankfully, my aunt has catering and baking experience was able to fix the cake and make it look great again. That was all her and no credit to the employee(s). The cake did have good flavor. With them being late for the delivery, our grazing table for cocktail hour was not completed until about 30 minutes into cocktail hour. This pushed my entire timeline back and left my guests waiting. I was VERY disappointed. I did not interact with them on the wedding day, but I was told that they kept making excuses for why they were late. I would not recommend them for special events, despite the food tasting good.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the cheesecake at The little brown box. Let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! The cheesecake was rich, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. But what made the experience truly exceptional was the owner’s warm hospitality. They were the nicest person, making sure every customer felt welcomed and satisfied. I highly recommend stopping by and indulging in their delicious cheesecake. You won’t regret it!

Love this place! The sandwiches are a great size with fresh ingredients. Soups are DELICIOUS and perfect for Midwest cold, but the desserts are a whole other level. Cheesecake, tres leches, cookies, mini cheesecake cups, and now cupcakes… everything is delicious. I’m not a huge cake person but Merissa(owner) makes her cakes taste so light and yet flavorful and the whipped cream is creamy but not too heavy.
I had an event at her deli shop and the staff was so kind, helpful, and had everything set out on time and made fresh. We were able to customize our menu for the event and it didn’t break the bank! This place did truly not disappoint. If I could of gave 10 stars I would of. Truly a hidden gem and they deserve all the love. I asked for a variety platter for Valentine’s Day and it was beautiful. Cheesecake, dipped strawberries, dipped Oreos, etc. they also have a lunch menu.
