Sunday night, we stopped by The Lion cocktail lounge for live music, and it did not disappoint! The space is upscale and beautifully designed the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail after dinner or just to hangout. They offer live music every other Sunday, coffee or tea in the mornings , and daily happy hour from 4pm-6pm. Grab a drink and a charcuterie board enjoy.

My date introduced this place to me and I personally don’t drink alcohol. They were able to make a mocktail for me–which I really appreciate. My drink tasted good, just a little too sweet. I loved the atmosphere a lot. Very cozy and relaxing.

It is a dark and relaxing environment. A very small room with a long bar and ample seating. The Lion is somehow very cool and warm in the esthetic. My favorite reason to be there was a bartender that no longer works.. so, for me, the tight space might not be worth traversing the crowds on the weekends. Weekdays are not too crazy, so maybe try that first if you dont like crowds. Also, they started doing coffee in the mornings. The coffee was pretty alright

I had a pleasure of going to the Lion when visiting Bexley. The moment you walk in, you feel wrapped up in this great atmosphere that makes you want to stay. The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The bartenders are top-notch, fun, welcoming and clearly know their craft. The drinks are some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The Lion has this effortlessly cool vibe and we cannot wait to go back!

Please note the above “star” rating is given after two drive by attempts. This on Tuesday 2-24-2026 at 10:45 am during coffee time. The reason for choosing the place was in response to a recommendation that Chat gave me to me my requirements of new places, types of people, atmosphere and food. I did also specify parking and walking distance. Gimpy knees and a cane hinder long walks.
Unfortunately the best parking for me is limited in front of The Lion. Off street diagonal parking in one row. A couple of tries and no luck so I left.

Love love love this place! So thrilled to have this open in the neighborhood. My husband and I tried most of the drinks on the menu between the two of us (there are 6) and they were all expertly crafted. We spent a lot of the night speaking with Dustin who curated the drink menu and is clearly very talented. The decor is also beautiful and expertly designed. Sounds like they have a lot planned for this place and it’s a welcomed addition to the community!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere but I did not enjoy my service from Dustin he had a horrible attitude and I just was not enjoying being there being served by him. Will be making sure we have someone else next time we go but other than that it was a great place to be.
