Nice place right on the lake. With indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of parking and of course , lake access . Nice menu and plenty of options . Had the mushrooms for an appetizer and Old Fashions for drinks. The drinks were good. And Fish fry, it was OK but everything tasted the same ( I had cod, walleye, blue gill and, shrimp) grandson had cheeseburger and sweet potato fries with queso dip. Says ” it’s the best burger ever. Better than McDonald’s “

We had an awesome time a the Lily Pad, ate there both days of our weekend away! BEST place to hang out on Lake Kosh! If you’re there early enough on Sunday, you might be lucky enough to get on of Sandra’s famous omelette’s!! Great place, great people! A MUST stop.

Terrible service. We waited twice at 30 minutes with empty drink glasses while the 3 waitresses stood together talking in their little huddle not even paying attention to customers. It was ridiculous. We had to send 2 hamburgers back because they were completely uncooked and cold in the middle.
So we never got a cooked hamburger. We asked for Old smokey salted caramel old fashions and got some sort of other rail drink. Then we got the bill and there were 3 things charged on are bill that were not supposed to be there. So they took them off.
Lilly Pad needs to make some serious changes or they will sink. There were 8 empty tables on a Friday night. They have lost most all their local customers for good reasons.
They need a new manager that knows how to run a bar and the people working at the bar. As I sat there watching all the employees it was obvious nobody has a clue what it takes to be a sufficient quality establishment.
We all want to see that bar become a good local bar again. Good luck i hope you all figure out what changes are needed soon.

Have not been here since renamed as the Lily Pad so we gave it a try on a Thursday night. Food was just okay for the price, service was friendly but slow, drinks were weak. It was a bingo night so we stayed to play bingo as well, the gal calling the bingo numbers was very nice. But it was clear that this was a “locals” night as the local crowd didn’t care for non-regulars winning anything…lol…Really no reason to go back.

Unfortunately cannot comment on the food or anything but the times for the restaurant being open are false. We made a reservation after seeing that it’s open 11am-11pm with bingo each week and other events. My reservation was never confirmed and I called 3 times, no answer. Had my sister get to the restaurant first, closed. Nothing anywhere saying it wouldn’t be open and you could STILL make a reservation for that night. The phone number on their reservation website is disabled and the one listed on Google doesn’t have a voicemail. Don’t recommend unless you know for a fact they’re open, which they should be at posted times and with their reservation service up.

We stopped on Saturday November 22 nd shortly after opening. Bella was the only one there, cook didn’t show up. Bella did a fantastic job she was awesome covered the bar and did the cooking till help showed up. Great personality and a great manager definitely going back this winter and definitely during the summer on the boat.

Great Lake bar, feels like a north woods lodge. Fish fry was out of this world good. Great beer selection. Cheese curds are extra squeaky. And the brat fries are unbelievable. Owners are super friendly and make you feel at home even if you are from across the border.

Aweful experience. Got sat by door. Everytime door opened we got a cold blast of air. We had a party of 8 and it took 1 1/2 hours to get food. Walleye had a ton of bones, 1 plate of bluegill was bad ( tasted like freezer burn but they did refund). The dinner w shrimp came w 4 burnt shrimp. The list goes on and on. Portions were very very small. Would not recommend or go back. Waitress was decent.

I typically do not write unfavorable reviews, however, the service was beyond horrible. It took nearly 30 minutes to get a beer and a drink. Every table outside needed to be bussed upon arrival! Extremely disappointed, we have been here numerous times under prior ownership and always had a fantastic experience. It’s extremely disheartening as we love the atmosphere, unfortunately the service was not worth it. I don’t blame the server, when a server is drowning, the manager should be busing tables, greeting guests, thanking them for their patience. I did not witness any of this.
Unfortunately I don’t think we will return!

I went for the first time because my Oldest Son was one of the line cooks tonight & it was Friday Fish Fry. I brought the whole Family. We had great service. We came while it was somewhat early. Started inside but it is to loud for conversations, so we moved outside. The place is nice. Servers are absolutely attentive & wonderful. We had five fish fry dinners. One cod, one perch & three blue gill. Of five fish dinners only one was slightly fishy. Which if you have cooked at home. Fresh fish or frozen fish, it can happen to anyone. Everyone was really happy, had a great time and will definitely pop in again. Their appetizers are perfect. If you want a nice sit by the fire and chat with friends. Their outdoor dining, appetizers and drinks would be the perfect calm evening. The place was busy, yet calm. You need to try the cheese curds & mozzarella sticks if you eat that type of food. They had that homemade feel.
