Parking: free parking lot.

The restaurant is small and relatively clean. Order a special pho and papaya salad. The veggies are fresh. The soup base is tasty. Pho portion is average, enough for average adult. Papaya salad is big enough for three people and comes with sauce.

Love the food here, especially their Bun Riu! Had to dock 2 stars for the confusing hours. Although the hours say they close at 8pm, their kitchen closes earlier. We went in on a Tuesday night at 7:30 and they were closed. We came in again on a Sunday at 7pm (to really make sure we make it on time!), but they were only accepting to-go orders. They mentioned something about closing earlier to deep clean their kitchen. It just sucks because we want to come back for their food, but we can’t keep coming out to only be disappointed.

I ordered their combination banh mi to go. I haven’t had a banh mi in a while, but I was surprised by how oily the bread was and I don’t remember my past banh mi’s being this oily? It had a very generous amount of meat, but it just didn’t really have much taste to it… I still finished it, but it was nothing to write home about. For the price ($10), I expected more flavor.

Imperial Rolls, they’re one of my all time favorites and there was once a local restaurant, in San Francisco, which I regarded as the best. However, it closed when the owners retired and I haven’t quite found its equal. These were above okay and below my old restaurant’s standards, but it’s better than nada.

They’re akin to the Filipino lumpias, these with more heft and you wrap lettuce around the rolls along with some of the pickley veggies and then dip it in a sauce for an explosion of flavor in your mouth.

There’s a bit of playful construction while consuming and that’s half the fun, an engaging and immersive culinary experience. Anyway, I was a happy fellow having these for lunch and I’ll surely be back!

My wife and I visited for lunch for the 1st time on July 4, 2024. There is free parking in the shared lot in the rear. Service was quick and efficient. The pho was good, in a flavorful broth with a generous portion of beef. We will gladly return to try more of the extensive but familiar menu.

Decent food and prices. Went here hungry after hiking Devils Slide late afternoon and we left stomach full. We ordered Veg Spring Rolls, Chicken Noodle Soup, Veg Garlic Noodle with Tofu and Veg Curry Noodles. All the items were tasty and in sufficient quantity. The meat items here also had a veg broth option. We ended with Avocado Smoothie Boba and Vietnamese coffee.

The food at Oasis is solid. We came in for lunch at 11:30am on a Tuesday with no wait. We were the first ones there. The food came out fast. The restaurant was too clean for a Vietnamese noodle restaurant. Our waiter knew the menu well and was competent. I had their #2 pho dac biet with egg noodles $14.45. The broth could be better and the noodles easily broke apart. Still good though. The satay beef noodles $16 were better. It had a very good broth. As for the shrimp garlic noodles $14.45, it was overly salty with a good garlic taste. This was not bad. Good job chef and waiter at Oasis.

Great pho broth, plenty of meat, perfect ratio to noodles. The fried springs rolls were ok.

Service is quick on a cold Saturday morning.
