Awesome place and amazing staff who helped us with our car after a pothole destroyed two of our tyres arranged us a cab back to our accommodation.
The food was amazing all served beautifully and with a great wine pairing staff were polite pleasent and attentive .

Absolutely love this place fantastic staff polite and can’t do enough, extremely knowledgeable. Atmosphere was chilled and just what you would expect from a fine dining experience. Cocktails were spot on and the all important thing, the food, 10/10 top draw couldn’t fault anything! Thank you for a great 60th, sorry I enjoyed it so much I forgot to take photos so I got just two!

Every time we go to The Lighthouse we leave feeling full, like we’ve had an incredible experience and with the best quality food. Theres a reason its our staple favourite for events like birthdays, parties & special occasions.
The first time we went (our first time ever to a tasting restaurant) we were worried on the portion sizes and whether we’d feel full (because of our personal appetites) and yet, every time, we struggle to finish the portions as everything is so meticulously balanced and paired exceptionally well.

Out in the back end of nowhere, the team at the Lighthouse Restaurant create a fantastic experience. Incredible food and warm hospitality with not even a hint of pretentiousness. A full dining room at the end of January speaks to how well they do what they do. The Winter menu was delicious, each course delivers something new…I’ll never want regular cheese on toast again!

The taster menu, usually up to 12 dishes, are just fantastic, well executed and presented, each dish is described by the host and I would recommend the wine flight which pairs to you meal again described by the host.
The staff don’t just put your plate or glass down it’s served with passion.

I was excited to try this restaurant after reading the reviews and must commend the chefs as every dish was exceptional, with thoughtfully crafted flavors, especially the scallops and guinea fowl. However, for a venue aspiring to a more refined experience, especially given the price point, I was disappointed by several service missteps. While the staff were friendly, they mishandled wine, beer, and water bottles by gripping them at the neck and even touched the rim of the bottle and my glass with their fingers. Additionally, they were not attentive in refilling my water, and I often had difficulty getting their attention. Overall, it was a good experience, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

Enjoy our valentine’s meal.
Only slight disappointment was the addition of gratuity to the bill which was not mentioned anywhere and was non optional.
The gratuity came to £34 on a £250 meal plus drinks and unfortunately for the restaurant we were going to leave a much larger tip but decided not to.
Please make gratuity and tips optional or make it very clear that it will be added to the final bill.
Other than that a really nice place for fine dining.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience here last night celebrating a belated anniversary. The food was incredible – our particular favourites were the 4 courses to start and the two desserts, but we weren’t disappointed with even one dish. The service was another highlight, everyone was very attentive and polite, however one of the service staff in particular (I apologise for not remembering her name!) went above and beyond with her drink recommendations, her attitude and conversation, answering any questions we had, and thoroughly helped elevate our experience even more!
I cannot wait to come back again to try their different seasonal menus, this has been a real find and I really hope they get their Michelin star soon as they really deserve it.

Absolutely amazing small restaurant serving high end delicious food.
All of the courses tasted amazing in a fabulous setting.
We also went for the wine pairing, which was really well crafted to go with each course.
If your going for a special occasion I would definitely recommend eating here as well as paying the extra for the wine pairing as its well worth the extra cost.

Wow! What can I say! Amazing! It was truly an experience. The lady that served was very kind and attentive, explaining every dish and suggesting the best way to enjoy the dishes.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting.
The food was amazing, from the spectacular flavours to the thought-out menu that takes you on the journey with spectacular prestation.
I will be coming back! I recommend this restaurant without a doubt!!!
