Came here to pick up some donuts for my family. The store is in a good location with plenty of parking. They’ve got indoor and outdoor seating. I walked in and there was only one other costumer so they took my order quickly. I ordered the Breakfast Dozen.
Each and every donut was made fresh to order which made the that much more enjoyable! My favorites were the Peanut Butter Fluff, Coffee Cake, French Toast and Blueberry Streusel. All.the donuts were delicious but these four were my favorite with pronounced flavors that werent too sweet and yet well balanced!
I’ll definitely be back to try the other boxes.

The overall experience was great! I loved the amount of options and the fact that the donuts are made to order. Love the flavors and my favorite donut: coconut bliss. I love the crunch, the chocolate, and the delicious coconut.
But if you’re going for a more basic frosting, GET THE STRAWBERRY FROSTING. That frosting is addictive and delicious.
The staff was a bit dry but maybe I caught them on an off day. Oh and because they fry on the spot, the inside gets pretty warm.

Nice, small place with outdoor seating. Employees greet you and offer help as you walk in. Waiting in line a bit as these are made to order. The donut sandwich was very tasty. There is a wide variety of donuts to pick from. Made to order concept is great though frosting drips onto the box. Blueberry shake was good. My cappuccino cup could have been filled a little more…

My family has raved about this place so when after recently Vernon Hills Baseball Discount card (which includes $3 off per dozen donuts), I decided to go this morning. Wow, they are really good donuts! Hot and fresh and made to order. It’s best to grab them to go because they are too hot to eat immediately! Though it is a franchise it seems like a small shop. At $19/dozen after the discount it compares favorably to Dunkin which is $15/dozen. These are obviously way higher quality and fresh as can be. Only took about 5-7 minutes for my dozen to be ready. Many different varieties all of which are recommended. The only drawback I would say is there is only one type of donut base, the typical cakey style donuts. The only variance is the toppings. The base is extremely good but cannot be varied (think chocolate cake or gooey donut base).
All in all it is our favorite local (4 miles and 13 minutes isn’t really that local either) donut place!

First time ever visiting one of these locations was this past August and had a very pleasant first experience.
It’s one thing that a donut shop makes & bakes their donuts on site and brings them out on the racks, but a shop whose donuts are made-to-order and you have the option to customize your own………that’s awesome!
In the vein of Krispy Kreme only better here, Duck Donuts is a growing sensation. These little guys are delicious and I’m so glad to have a location only a 12 mile drive south of my house in Beach Park.
Definitely not cheap but the $25 I paid for the Duck dozen was well worth it. Venue is clean/sanitized, excellent donuts & coffee and customer service reigns supreme.
The morning i came in here mid-week around 7:30am, I was the only customer in here but I suppose that could be different if it was located directly on IL 21. Located back futher on the side street probably keeps it from overcrowding.
Definitely a hidden gem to be discovered if you haven’t found it yet. I can’t wait to get back in here and try a different dozen the next time, that Duck dozen was amazing!
A limited but growing chain, currently only 3 locations in the entire state and all in the Chicago area. Some of the east coast states especially North Carolina have the most locations, lucky them.
There’s even 2 locations in Puerto Rico and 4 international locations, 1 in Canada and 3 in the middle east. I hope to know that those countries want more locations to come!
I hope for continued growth for the franchise and future success & prosperity for the CEO and all store owners.

It was our first time trying Duck donuts, and it was AMAZING! Firstly, this sweet aroma from the freshly made donuts inside the shop was comforting. Also, it was nice to see how my donuts are made on the spot:) Secondly, there are MANY flavors! Thankfully, their “Dozen-” options in the menu made it easier to pick which ones I wanted to get. The staff was willing to help and ensured that I didn’t pick the flavor I would not like. They even did the quality check once everything was packed and ready to go!
Last but not least, the donuts were fabulous! They were very fluffy, soft, and with just the right amount of sweetness. Believe it or not, the flavors represent what it says on the menu. That’s pretty impressive, and it will be a while before finding my favorite flavors (not just one for sure) lol I discovered my new donuts place!
*GPS location was not working. It is located right behind the Clucker’s Charcoal Chicken-libertyville. I also love the food from Clucker’s, so getting Clucker and Duck Donuts might become our new trend! lol Support Two Birds at Once!

Had Duck Donuts before but first time visiting the actual spot! 5-stars and beyond. This place makes made-to-order donuts – enough said – with their unique styles of donjts or even your custom own. Ordered a dozen donuts of their Signature Assortment, as well as a Mystery Duck (being a Jeep Wrangler order, this was a must!), which they let me choose. Cute spot located in Downtown Libertyville along Milwaukee Ave. Nice-sized patio and friendly staff – what more can you ask for? Will be back for sure!

As someone who has not experienced fresh donuts, I am absolutely blown away. The boxes are cute, the donuts are great, don’t even hesitate just try them. Their menu has tons of options and types for everyone. We tried the strawberry sprinkle and a vanilla latte donut and both were amazing. Would definitely go back :))
