I’m a straight five-star skeptic, but after trying the place, I can see why it’s 5 stars straight-up.
I had the beef stew with a cornbread muffin and a fiesta chicken sandwich. The food was delicious, the service was stellar, the ‘ice chest tea’ was very good, and it had exactly the small-town feel I like.
Two recommendations for improvement.
1. Get a restroom, or out up a sign where newbies can tell how to access the existing one, whichever the case may be.
2. Have meat for the Philly cheesesteak next time, PLEASE…LOL!

We stopped here on our way home from OBU and it did not disappoint!! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, smiles and welcomes from the owner and her daughter. The food was delicious! We had sandwiches and salads and baked potatoes and cookies and banana pudding and she even graciously made extra tea for our boys when it ran out during her lunch rush! This will most definitely be our new stopping place on our way to Shawnee!! Thank you for having us The Lighthouse! Keep being a shining light in your community!

I was passing through Asher, OK at 2 am today,was stuck on the side of the road till about 1:30 this afternoon, when someone asked if I needed help and pulled me to some shade across from the Lighthouse Restaurant, and then a beautiful young lady brought me a sandwich and a drink with chips from there Bistro,and that was the best sandwich I have ever had, no questions about do u need anything, just brought me a sandwich, with such care and kindness, selfless, just care and concern.
I have no doubt of the service and attentiveness one would receive when you walk through the door.
As much consideration I was shown , I believe the family puts there heart and soul into there food, customer service , and treating there guest like family.
And then the gorgeous lady where the Daughter got her good looks from , Brought Me Cookies!!!
I would expect the whole menu to be very tasty and delectable, a definite five stars in a tiny small Oklahoma town on highway 177

My wife and I stopped here on the way home to Stillwater. She had the bacon, avocado, lettice, and tomoato (B.A.L.T) and I had the Reuben. My wife said the sandwich was amazing, bread was soft and had good flavor, avocados extremely fresh, and the bacon didn’t have any gristle, and was cooked perfectly. The Reuben was the best one I have had, and I’ve eaten them all over the country. Small town atmosphere, without the “we know you’re not from around here” feeling. If youre passing through you definitely need to stop and give them a try! We will be stopping to eat here again on our way back through.

My friend and I were passing through town and thought we’d give these folks a try! We were not disappointed, this place is great. Service was great and the food was perfecto . Grabbed a delicious strawberry cookie on the way out, it clearly had that wonderful homemade touch to it!

This place has a little bit of everything on the menu. Its set up in an old rock building that is the perfect location for a quick bite to eat. The staff are friendly, cheerful and ready to serve up some great food and desserts. The dining room is spacious and there’s a big awning out front that provides shade for outdoor dining. There’s plenty of parking for all. Stop by and enjoy a Beefmaster sammich and some cupcakes.
