This was our first stop on St. Patty’s and I just gotta say… there’s some straight up sorcery going on in this kitchen. I can’t stop thinking about that damn delicious fried tofu sandwich. Also love the vibe from the moon lamp, the glow in the dark star paint, and the luminescence from the bar’s green lights. With menu options like onion rings (seriously the best), corn dogs, etc., it’s pretty much elevated adult carnival food. Perfect place for an indulgent dinner and a stiff drink or a pint of local brew. Could stand to expand on the cider options for my hunny’s sake : ]

Listen… I have devoured a life time’s worth of deviled eggs. This place has THE BEST deviled eggs. THE BEST grilled cheese. And the grits and green is maybe my most favorite thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. WOW! And absolutely wonderful service! Please go here. Ok, thanks bye.

We stopped by the Lift Off Lounge on our way to dinner. We were warmly greeted when we entered and found seats at the bar. There is a very inviting ambience to the lounge and the décor is very well thought out. The liquor selection is impressive and the bartender was extremely talented at mixing. There is a great selection of Jamaican rums, which I find rare. I tried the pickled, deviled eggs which were wonderful. I was excited to see the corn dog on the menu, but we were on our way to dinner; Next time! The lounge was very clean and played great music.

The atmosphere here is awesome! Great vibes, creative decor, moody and very laid back. They have a free juke box! They have awesome boozy milkshakes and food with pretty decent prices. I would recommend checking this place and trying their cocktails and milkshakes!

Excellent bar food and cocktails! We tried almost everything on the food menu and everything was well prepared. You can only order at the bar and all tables are self seating, which was a little confusing at first but the staff was friendly and accommodating. We happened to go on a night with a lot of large groups so space was limited but we made it work. Would not recommend for groups of 4 or more. Will definitely be back.

This place has become a favorite neighborhood gem. It has everything, amazing drinks, friendly and talented staff, a very chill vibe, and great food options. Look at this Chicken Sandwich – when I saw it on IG, I knew I had to have it and it did not disappoint, do yourself a favor get in and try this! Add a side of garlic & parm fries – then prepare for Lift Off!

The decor is so fun, a mix of retro space age with just a hint of a 20s nod in some the moon and stars art. It has all the appeal of a retro dinner but it’s a more interesting and different take. It’s on the smaller side but there’s a lot of tables and booth seating which is so comfortable. They had a good number of vegan option on the menu. We got some corn dogs and curly fries and nothing was bad but it was unpleasantly greasy and the dogs were a little over. The theme and how well it’s pulled off is really cool and the bartenders were very nice and accommodating. Good palate cleanser if you’re burnt out of dive bars and breweries.

This place is one of the most criminally underrated bars in town. I just had one of the best fried chicken sandwiches of my freaking life. Corndogs: phenominal (even the vegan ones!). Elote: puts many Mexican restaurant to shame. Drinks: out-freaking-standing.

Small but comfy, bartender, she was amazing some tasty cocktails to enjoy. They vibe the 1950s atomic Era, with lighting fixtures and decorations, even rocketship trashcans in the restrooms. It is very much worth visiting

Came at just after opening at 4 o’clock and weren’t the first ones in to the funky green glowing new hang out spot on NE Sandy Blvd. No drinks above 10 and the menu, although small, seems to be just right. Love the onion rings, will be back for those and the Old Fashioned’s. Happy to have spent my first happy hour in a long time there tonight, I will be back. Definitely worth checking out if you’re from this neck of the woods or not.
