Does this plate look remotely appetizing?
Save your money and go to any drive thru for a better meal. I wouldn’t feed that slop to my dog.

The Library Restaurant was a delightful find along the Northern Myrtle Beach Coast. The Library was started in 1974 with a traditional and elegant sense of French cuisine and the magical culinary arts of old school French dishes.
My wife and I were fortunate enough to visit the Library, soak in the menu, and truly enjoy the quiet Library themed establishment with only a few other guests.
I was made aware that the chef, like many French chefs, is very resistant to changing his dishes, but he does make a very reasonable accommodation for food allergies.
However; he was able to navigate my Gluten Allergy without any incident, and our experience was wonderful.
We hope to visit again soon!

We can’t say enough about our wonderful experience at the Library! It has a very elegant atmosphere, and our waiter was top-notch and very attentive, and the drinks were on point! Last but definitely not least, our compliments to the chef!! Our meals were perfectly prepared and were way beyond excellent!

We had a Great Anniversary dinner. Chris did an excellent job with all of the food that was prepared table side. The Library has a Great atmosphere. Overall and excellent experience for that special occasion. I highly recommend.

Love the vibe of this restaurant. The artwork alone is wonderful. Great spot for an anniversary dinner or business dinner. The food was exquisite and very flavorful. I had the lamb and crab app, which was delicious! The cheese dip is also amazing. The bar tender also makes a fantastic blue cheese stuffed olives dirty martini. The bar has a great drink selection for wine and beer as well. This restaurant connects to a separate bar called 88 keys. Which is also an amazing place. I have tried their tips and fries, and they were delicious. Beautiful place. Great service. There is plenty of parking and great music. Thank you for the great hospitality, every time.

A quiet, comforting place with steak that cut like butter. I’ve never eaten a steak so fast! The halibut was recommended to my husband (ofc I had to skim some from his plate) and it was delectable. I tried escargot for the first time here; they were everything that I’d hoped they’d be. I wish to come back some day soon because it’s going to be hard for any place to top that steak.

This restaurant came recommended by our checkin agent at The Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort. Upon check in my husband mentioned that it was my birthday and the agent wrote down a couple of suggestions, The Library was one of them and I am so pleased that he knew about this restaurant enough to recommend to others!
I recommend you see your reservation ahead ahead of time but we did not, but was graciously accommodated when we arrived.
The experience was one of our best dining experiences ever! When we checkin the hostess politely informed us we would have to sit at the bar that no reservations were available but thankfully the maitre d was right there to check the availability and was able to seat us right away. That care and attention was the start of our experience. Our waiter was Mike from NY and he provided the best service and gave detail menu advice. The atmosphere was amazing, looks just like a library, the walls are trimmed with books and there is a secret door that opens up to a private dining area.
My cocktail was the best ever, clean, sharp, and tasty. I ordered the Martini with the blue cheese stuffed olives. My husband is a Gentleman Jack type of guy and Mike suggested the he try The Old Fashioned but with his Gentleman Jack choice and he loved it. The She Crab soup was so velvety and luxurious, the toasted almonds before the pour of the soup added the extra flavor. Our main course was even more delicious bone in ribeye with green beans, potato and we each ordered a lobster tail.
Overall, hands down one of the best restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area if you are looking for top notch service and quality food.

Hands down the best dining experience we’ve ever had. Start to finish perfect. I don’t know how they pack so much flavor into everything, even the little steak bites but WOW, so good. The filet could be cut with a plastic butter knife if you needed to. Nice, quiet atmosphere. Just enough time between courses to allow you to really enjoy it. Christian was our server and was absolutely on it. I can’t think of a single thing that could be done better. Can’t wait to go again.

Such a beautiful spot for our anniversary dinner! Bobby was a fantastic server – so witty, personable and impeccable recommendations. I had crab leg meat as an appetizer – so sweet! He had the she crab soup. For entrees, I had two lobster tails (super delicious with a surprise sauce and more baby shrimp inside the shell) and he had the filet with blue cheese sauce. Extra delicious. No room for dessert. Wine and drinks were on point. Head over to 88 Keys afterwards for a super fun night cap and live entertainment!
