My wife and I went for our first time for lunch today. The atmosphere, service and food were all outstanding. We were also surprised by how affordable everything was. The music selection they had playing was really good as well. My wife ordered the Library Burger and I had the daily special which was chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans . We shared the bread pudding for dessert, it was amazing! Our bill was only $46, it was worth every penny! For the value and quality of food, this is one of our new favorites in SBC!

One of the best in Shreveport. Service from Aleshia was excellent. And the food was some of the best Ive had in the area. The atmosphere was casual but the food was 5 star! I cannot brag on this place enough. It is exceptional.

First time visiting, and I’m already looking forward to my next trip back. The food presentation was impressive, and the atmosphere struck a perfect balance—laid-back, warm, and genuinely inviting. Our table shared several dishes, which gave me the chance to sample a wide range of what the restaurant has to offer, and everything we tried was excellent. I’ll definitely be returning.

I don’t even know where to begin. Walking up to the door and even on the inside there’s old oven/restaurant equipment just sitting out. Atmosphere is weird. Not sure exactly what they’re trying to go for. Hallways and bathrooms are super crowded with kitchen supplies and cleaning supplies. They were very short staffed and the manager was there and was just walking around not even trying to help run the restaurant. We were seated right away, but it was 25 minutes before our waiter asked us about an appetizer we wanted to order. Appetizers were great but chips and dip came out on a plate that was broken and they taped it up with painters tape.
1.5 hours until we got our entree. Do not suggest the grilled chicken or the fish and chips. The fish and chips was recommended by our waiter, and it was soggy and greasy, and fell apart when I tried to pick it up and eat it. He said that’s not the first time today and he ended up comping the meal as I refused it. Waiter gave us complementary cookie and slice of pie to help with the issues and apologized for the cooks because THEY WERE TWO COOKS SHORT! Our first time dining here and it will be the last. Manager never once came to the table, sat at the bar visiting with patrons. Thanks to our waiter!

Service is excellent.. Alicia is great and was excellent. Atmosphere is also very good and calming. Food is ok.. nothing outstanding that I felt. DO NOT order deviled eggs.. pretty bad and chef if you are reading this.. change your recipe. We can upscale the food to match the ambience.

The crab wontons were amazing, we ordered two for the table and honestly could’ve just eaten those all night! I had the stuffed redfish for my entree, which was really unique and pretty good. Wrapped it all up with the bread pudding for dessert. Solid meal all around!

A very nice restaurant to dine at. The place was clean & nice looking. There was plenty of parking at night. Our waiter was very nice, I wish I could remember his name, but he took us through the menu & made suggestions. My wife enjoyed the crab cake tower as our appetizer. I enjoyed the spinach artichoke; the dip was a little spicy & pasty but good, the chips were fresh & crisp. Our food came out fairly quick after our appetizer. The salmon picatta & crispy Brussels were delicious. The shrimp Cajun pasta was thin with a nice subtle creamy flavor. The shrimp was very good, but too few to enjoy (about 5/6 shrimp). The only thing I didn’t like was the random items sitting out or in view of our table such as the pallet jack in front of the enclosed wine rack or the small storage with windows that showcased random jars of items. These were eye sores imo, but nothing that would prevent me from coming back or recommending a great taste in food.

Came in to The Library on Fern for their World Cuisine Tour dinner and wow! What an exquisite experience. The flavors were put together so well and tantalized the tastebuds. Every dish was just phenomenal. Our server Ethan took great care of us and made the experience even more incredible. If you haven’t been, you should definitely give it a try!

Really really wanted to love this place. Love the vibe. The Godmother cocktail was delicious. The bruschetta was delicious. Our drinks were brought with no ice to the table. My husband’s steak was undercooked and so cool to the touch that his butter wouldn’t even melt. We mentioned it to the waitress so she took his steak away. She returned with the same steak reheated but she had taken away his steak knife and didn’t return with one. 5-10 minutes passed before she checked on us and my husband was just ready to go at that point. For 50 or $60? per steak we expected better.
