This Mexican restaurant was such a great find! The dish I ordered was absolutely amazing. The seasoning was perfectly balanced, and every bite had that rich, authentic taste that’s hard to find. The ingredients were fresh, and you could tell everything was cooked to perfection, not rushed. The presentation was beautiful colorful, vibrant, and appetizing. The staff was friendly.
I left completely satisfied and already planning to come back. Highly recommend if you’re craving truly delicious Mexican food!

Girl’s day out! Decided to stop for lunch. Prices are decent. Food was good. I had chicken nachos. My family had tacos, a burrito, and the taco soup. We enjoyed the picture opportunity with the donkeys (fake) sitting outside when you walk in.

I had the chicken soup and a taco salad. The soup was out of this world. It was so fresh that you could taste every ingredient. Yet it was blended so well.
Good salad, fresh and firm lettuce, tomato, avocado, and sour cream perfect.
It was a wonderful meal!
The waitstaff was nice.
I wasn’t greeted when I walked in the staff (3 males) were sharing a joke. No big deal, just an observation.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Our server was attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was not bad, the food didn’t really hit the spot though; the meat wasn’t cooked fully and was still hard to chew except shrimp. The amount of guacamole & sour cream they offer is VERY tiny and somehow watery.
There is enough parking on both sides of the building but it gets tight during busy times so plan ahead. The prices like everywhere else have been impacted by the economic challenges and inflationary environment.

Stopped by to have lunch after appointment. From out of town and wanted Mexican food. The place is clean and they staff were there to welcome you in. I have the lunch Chicken fajitas. It was good but could have used more seasoning. Will try again when I pass through.

Can’t go wrong with this restaurant. The past couple experiences I can remember this restaurant being big, having big TVs, a fun atmosphere, and the food is cooked with love and dedication. The service is amazing and I like the add ons of this restaurant. It makes it a bit more special compared to other restaurants. The carne asada is delicious and the tortillas are always provided as a freebie extra each time you order a plate, like carne asada as an example.
Now I only decided to pick up for this experience and it has not only been hitting across the spot you can’t go wrong with this place. Lazy Donkey is one of the best Mexican restaurants out there and you must give it a try, the chips are amazing, all the food is just fresh, delicious tasty and cooked to perfection and the drinks were amazing, I got the Horchate and it tasted something similar like a cinnamon but the sweetness complemented it really well. I will come back here again.

Could be our new favorite Mexican restaurant in Carrollton. Just need seasoning on the steak and shrimp. Chicken was fine for the Texas Fajitas. Overall, very nice.
