A nostalgic hideaway tucked inside Commonwealth, The Laundry Room is an internationally acclaimed speakeasy with a very exclusive admission process. Only 22 guests are allowed admittance so that our master cocktail craftsmen can tailor a unique experience for each.
Dramatic, roomy haunt with a pre-prohibition era theme featuring vintage cocktails & a speakeasy.

It was an silent oasis in the chaos that is Freemont St. No pictures allowed inside and it is a very intimate setting. Any other location, it wouldn’t work. It is very quiet. Music is on low. It is dark. It works here because you know what’s waiting for you outside. Cocktails are great, excellent balance on them. Overall, it was a cool experience.

I had a reservation for Oct 4. When I showed up, I was told there was no record of my reservation (I had both text and email showing the confirmation.) The woman checking reservations was extremely rude and accused me of accidentally canceling and that “maybe I forgot”. She actually refused to help us and went inside the building. Eventually, the hostess came out. She noted that the reservation was canceled at 6 PM that day. Why would I cancel at 6 and then show up at 7? We were told we could get “squeezed in” and were seated. We were rushed through our first drink, and told we didn’t need to order the required second because they needed our table. We had both already picked out our second drinks. We were charged for the popcorn. When she offered to top off the popcorn we agreed, but then were charged again with no notice. We asked the bartender a question about the cocktails but he gave a general “anything is good” response. So much for a specialist. We felt rushed, poorly treated, and nickel-and-dimed. The experience was poor and disappointing as this was for my boyfriend’s birthday and we were both really looking forward to this evening. The piano player was awesome, and we enjoyed him and his playing very much!
To add salt to the wound, I received an automated email the next day asking how my Oct 4 Laundry Room reservation was. Why would I have received that if I had cancelled as I’d be accused of.
Vegas has several quality speakeasies. I highly suggest going elsewhere!

Nothing like the speakeasy I expected. Just a freaking tiny room overcharging for everything, including mandatory popcorn (sweet? vinegar? ugh). The piano player was really good, but no singing. A teeny tiny space with no grandeur at all. I guess if you want an intimate setting; Go for it. I’ve been to real speakeasies; this ain’t one. Mob Museum nearby was 100x better. Hard pass.

The Laundry Room in Las Vegas is unlike any place I’ve ever visited. From the moment you step inside, you feel transported to another era…one where refinement, intention, and artistry take center stage. It’s a rare escape from the noise of modern life; no cell phones, no chaos, no distractions… just exceptional craft and atmosphere.
Anthony, the bartender, deserves special recognition. Not only did he create the incredibly specific and imaginative drink menu, but he also runs the bar with remarkable skill and grace. His attention to detail and genuine passion elevate the entire experience.
The Laundry Room is more than a bar, it’s a step back in time, a hidden gem where hospitality, creativity, and sophistication meet. An absolute must-visit in Las Vegas.

Did a quick google search of speakeasy’s in Vegas before our trip. This place was right up our alley! Made reservations online. Reservations have a time limit of 90 minutes and are accepted up to 2 weeks in advance of reservation date. 2 drink minimum per person. Kind of tricky to find but that’s the point right?! Loved the intimacy of the space and the cocktail menu had plenty to choose from. Our bartender was great and explained the menu to us. They don’t serve vodka. The house rules and the decor brought us back to the prohibition era. Not your typical Vegas bar. The popcorn was a great little snack. The bathroom walls have lots of cool newspaper articles. We will definitely be going back when we go to Vegas again!

If your looking for an off the beat speakeasy, then this is it. Nick our bartender was a true mixologist. My wife and I gave him a couple ingredients and he went to work and create drinks we immediately fell in love with. While my drinks was without alcohol (as I was the designated driver), the drinks Nick created were tasty and satisfying for both my wife and I. The popcorn was combination of kettle corn and regular which only enhanced our experience. The Ambience was quaint with an old school piano playing requests from the small gathering inside.

The is a fun place, the staff are amazing and the atmosphere is very cool. Was lucky to be able check this place out and enjoy a few fun drinks in a very cool atmosphere.
The drinks are amazing and it’s more fun to get the mixologist to make a drink of flavour profiles. Both drinks I had hit the mark of what I was looking for.
If you can find a way to get into this place make it happen.

Anyone looking to visit The Laundry Room MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FINE PRINT. Plan on min ~$60 per person (2 drinks, popcorn, gratuity, & service charge), mind the dress code, and be careful of your reservation. If you book at the wrong time, the music from the adjacent venue is likely to ruin your experience. Don’t bother with anything customer service, they’ll just make you wait, only to be utterly unhelpful.
The goal is a feeling of exclusivity, I guess? Really just not worth the hassle.

Had a great time here. Keeping it quiet and enjoying some discreet refreshing drinks.
Andrew was a great host and the history of the property was quite interesting.
Thank you for a great time.
The bathroom was quite interesting, not something you usually mention but definitely worth checking out if you go.
