Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The fish was very bland and basically bite size pieces. We asked for melted butter for our fish, and they gave us cubs of butter instead. The pretzel bites tasted like burnt old dough. They were nice enough to substitute for cheese curds, but those didn’t taste much better.

Started out with the bone marrow appetizer. Wonderful, my favorite part of the meal! Then we ordered the quinoa and garlic cakes with sprouts and lemon dijon sauce, and pheasant roasted garlic vegetables and black walnut cream sauce. Chased with Wisco ginger ale and a sour beer. EXCELLENT! Great service too.

Extraordinary experience! Service was on the highest level, food was delicious, music was stunning. It was my first time here, but definitely not the last. Thank you so much for an excellent work and the atmosphere that you create by working so hard.

This evening I stopped by to get a salad at 5:15/5:30. There was one table that was sat otherwise it was just me. This is the lakely mixed green salad. I added the “pulled chicken.” I typically love most things I get here, I probably come by a few times a month. Unfortunately the chicken was so dry. Bone dry. It just was so disappointing for a $21 salad. I don’t mind paying that whatsoever but please, please add some moisture to the chicken. Maybe mine was a fluke but I was just sad. Still love this place and will try it again soon.

Meat upscale but not overly pretentious place. Serve old school cocktails. Had jazz music on a Monday night. Interesting and neat decor in the hotel lobby. Warm fireplace.

I love the quality of the food and drinks at The Lakely, and it used to be my favorite restaurant in town. Though it appears a lot has changed in the last year, and it no longer feels like fine dining. For one, the menu has shrunk greatly from the previously diverse menu. What was most off-putting, though, is you are prompted to seat yourself and go up to the bar to order your drinks and food. This made the experience feel less like a nice restaurant with a bar, and more like a nice bar with expensive food.

Editing to add that their response has turned me further away from this “restaurant”. If you don’t want people to expect restaurant quality and service, perhaps you should only be listed as a cocktail bar and not a restaurant. Seems like the owner has a sore spot for people comparing their restaurant to more successful models in town. After I posted my initial review, my husband also informed me that one of the wings he received was raw. Definitely won’t be back.

The place has a nice vibe. We went on Tuesday, which is open mic night/. There were some good performers, they get to do 2 songs each.

Fun, lively atmosphere. There’s almost always love music, and the food looks and smells amazing. Sadly, i didn’t eat here. Bring your wallet, drinks are very good, but priced accordingly.
