This was such a pleasant surprise because we had visited this location more than a year ago and had a totally different experience. It had delicious food, nice staff, great views a limited but adequate menu and good service. We will definitely go back. It’s a bit on the pricey side, I’d say that inside it could use some antique, soft lightbulbs to tone down the bright light in the evening with the dark sky.

Fantastic experience at The Lakehouse! Definitely surpassed expectations. Came in for my mom’s birthday. Great view, our server Ethan was so nice, personable, and knowledgeable about the menu. He made great recommendations too. We brought a bottle of wine and the corkage fee was $20. Calamari was one of the best I’ve ever had. Burrata place was fantastic (definitely add the prosciutto!), my kids had the kid steak, kids chicken, and kids Mac and cheese and they loved it all. 100% recommend and look forward to coming back!

We’ve been at the Lakehouse for lunch & just for a late afternoon dessert. The selections are amazing & good to the last bite. The views of the lake & mountains are spectacular. Watching the activity on the lake is a bonus. Everything from flying kites, fishing or just watching the sailboats enjoy the late afternoon breezes.

The view is spectacular! However, I thought the food was very mediocre, especially for the price that you’re paying. We got the spinach dip appetizer and it was good. However, they don’t give you enough bread to eat with it. We didn’t even finish half of the dip with the amount of bread they gave us. The dip also tastes just like an Alfredo sauce that they just put little pieces of spinach in. There’s not artichoke or anything else in it. The burger was okay. If I’m paying $25 I’d expect there to be a “wow” factor to it or some ingredient that makes it stand out and there wasn’t anything. My husband and I split both our entrees and my half of the burger only had about 3 bites worth of meat on it… again not super impressed. The short rib Alfredo was good. It doesn’t taste like Alfredo so if you’re looking for your typical Alfredo taste, I would suggest getting something else. It was tasty though!

We eloped back in December and this was absolutely the place to celebrate it.

Highly recommend for a bridal shower party or other special occasions.

We wanted a small family dinner with a few friends (under 30 people) and had been having a hard time finding anywhere that didn’t want over $1000 just for the space–not including the food. If we’d wanted more seating they also were happy to reserve the downstairs if we’d needed twice the seating.

Andrew was the event coordinator and he was fabulous to work with and sent a bunch of photos and layout images beforehand so we knew what to expect. We asked to reserve the upstairs space for the evening and informed them we had between 20-30 people and a bunch of kids. They made the space work and managed to fit in a small kids table even. Everything looked so lovely without needing to break the bank ordering our own table cloths and centerpieces etc. They were even cool letting us come in and setting up two small back drops for photos. (Wooden arches and a framed gauze backdrop.)

The food was really tasty and they had the appetizers whipped up quickly. Well worth the price and they brought out food in a timely manner for the whole group without anyone complaining that it was taking too long.

Only downside was that we never figured out how to cast to the upstairs TV in order to play a wedding trivia type phone game.

Romantic, a tad overpriced, but enjoyable atmospheres for a date. They have loungers outside, restaurants owned, nice to watch the sunset. If it’s summer make your reservation for 730 to sit outside, otherwise too hot. Great service, okay food. No seasoning on my halibut or rice. The sauce seemed to have been put in first. I had to mash and mix everything together. The creamy white wine sauce was delicious, so mixing it really helped. Husband liked his tacos and salad. My mocktail was yummy, but teenie for the price without alcohol.

Overall we enjoyed our dinner, here are the pros and cons:
Pros: the facility was clean and beautiful with amazing views.
Our server was kind, service was slow but that’s probably the cook, not his problem.
Wonton nachos were great and beautiful… All the food was presented well.

Cons:
The burger and halibut were okay. The sauce covering the halibut is very vinegary and kind of ruined the dish for me. The burger was like a Habit burger, nothing fancy with overcooked fries we couldn’t eat.
The water served here is not iced, or chilled but just cooled so I had to ask for ice.

For the prices I wouldn’t come again. If I’m paying $50 a plate you expect your drink to be kept full and that level of service just wasn’t here during our visit.

I’m usually not a fan of eating outdoors, especially in Utah. It’s too hot, too windy, and too bright. However, we sat outside and it ended up being an incredible experience. The breeze off the lake was nice and cool, and our server, Miguel, made every effort to make our time enjoyable and comfortable.

Speaking of Miguel, he was so accommodating and patient with our questions and requests. Get him as a server if you can.

We had the burrata plate, the blackberry salad, the pork tenderloin, and the stroganoff. Everything was excellent. The bread on the burrata plate had been grilled (why have I never thought to do that before?!) and added a nice char to go with y cheese and pickled cherries. The salad was fresh and sweet, arugula is always the right choice for a sweet salad.

Our main entrees were exceptional as well. The pork was tender and juicy and pared well with the coconut rice and Brussels sprouts—which came in an amazing chili sauce (think Thai-style). The beef in the stroganoff was so soft and melted with the sauce and noodles. For such a basic dish it really felt elevated.

All in all, a good experience and worth the three dollar signs.

Had reservations at 7pm on Valentine’s Day. Walked in and we were seated. It took an hour for someone to even notice that we didn’t have any water, appetizers and that someone hadn’t taken our order. As soon as we brought it up to what seemed like the owner or manager they were all over in the corner on the stairs looking at us. It was super uncomfortable. As soon as someone did help us our waiter seemed super flustered. I understand that he was making a sacrifice being away from his family on valentines. But that’s no excuse for poor service. The food is good but not great. You’re better off spending your hard earned money somewhere else. It really is a shame because we had high hopes for this place.
