The Korner Store is a private event space now. I sent an inquiry in for a Saturday night booking, and received prompt response with a quote and some options. There’s a minimum food and drink amount. I coordinated a walk through of the space and made a deposit!
The hosts and owners (Ina and Nick) are incredibly helpful throughout the booking and night of the event. My ~40 guests enjoyed the Korean food and full bar. We had a fantastic time in the private space. The venue has tv screens, music inputs, DJ and dance area, karaoke, and an optional photobooth. I highly recommend considering The Korner Store for your next event.

So I was lucky enough to give this place a try during a closed event hosted by the Seoul sisters and the Hoo Lee Gans. Pretty cool vibe and atmosphere when you walk in. Extensive drink list and pretty skilled bartenders tend to your thirsty soul while the home cooked Korean style street food dishes caress your belly. As it was a closed event , the food was a buffet style, help yourself and gubble it up style. Regardless the food was spot on. I really enjoyed the onion pancake. This dish is as simple as it looks it is actually rather tricky to make. The popcorn chicken was tender, the kimchi zesty yet firm and tender.

Very casual spot on valencia with friendly staff and great menu. The drinks were great—I ordered a Spring in Seoul cocktail and the cucumber flavors were very refreshing. Additionally, the food portions and prices were generous. We got the french fries and boneless chicken, and it was enough to serve 3.
I liked the additional options to buy korean convenience store items on the side, ranging from drinks to little snacks 🙂 . Oh and the music is fun too

Such a fun spot to hang out! Friendly staff great music and down to earth vibes. Sometimes you just need the ultimate Korean trifecta: fried chicken, soju and beer. Will definitely be back!

I came by when i saw they have raw shrimp (& crab) and got to try it! I was expecting to not feel great after but I am suprised at how well the shrimps were seasoned with the sauce and it’s texture !! Definitely a try if you’re up for something new ! The atmosphere of the place was great too and lively! There was a dj corner playing some nice songs! And the service was very nice, offering complimentary rice and seaweed aside to the dish I ordered !

My favourite bar in town with great food as well, always such a cool vibe and staff are legends who are always optimizing their menu. Extra hats off to the amazing bartender Cesar who will definitely make you a delicious cocktail every time.

I’ve been coming here for 2 years now. This is my go to “POCHA” place in the city. Ina and Nick (owners) always take good care of their customers. The bites are great ! Make sure to get their wasabi octopus appetizer THE BEST PAIRED WITH DRINKS. My favorite dish is the hangover soup with chubby noodle . Vibey music and great Korean food ?- Look no further

This place is amazing! We came for a girls night and left feeling like it was a memorable night out.
Good:
– The food is all amazing – loved the korean dishes like the gimbap and the american ones like the tater tots and the tofu stews
– It’s super easy to share – the kimchi mushroom dish was harder to share but it was quite the unique dish
– The owner came and hung out with us for a bit in the middle too and then gave me birthday shots, which was so much fun!
– The live DJ was super fun
Bad:
– Food does take a while to come out and we had to ask about where one of our dishes went, but they all eventually came out
– It can get loud inside
Overall such a good experience and loved how much care the staff seemed to put into making this a great new place to go!
