Delicious!! Ordered the brisket meal for 4. Outstanding! The meat is succulent and delicious. The potato salad is wonderful as well as the garden salad that came with the meal for 4! Not to mention their excellent dressings and bbq sauces. We ordered pick up. Friendly service to boot!

This is my second time here with similar outcome, (I try to give a restaurant atleast 2 tries because they could have always just been having an off day) with that said, The man who served us was rude and disgusting ( belching while walking away from the table.) The food for a Togo order took what seemed like forever, to the point where we were able to sip on our beers to make them last and barely get them done when the food was ready. The food itself was a let down, I ordered a prime rib dip and the meat was extremely dry…. the chili dog my friend got was scarcely covered in chili but had a good quality hot dog in it (atleast). All in all: If you’re going to spend $25+ on a meal find somewhere else, it’s a sad day when the Huskies potatoes with fry sauce are the best part of the meal and even those need work. The beer was the only thing I would go back for and I just probably won’t be going back.

Bro-in-law took us out to dinner for his favorite Friday night meal. I had read reviews & not sure what to expect beyond a great meat entre. The place was simple, clean, friendly service, and every table filled by the time we left. Food & service were excellent!! A hidden gem, even though on main thoroughfare of Washington Street! Brighter paint would help as I had never noticed it in the 5 years we have lived here!

My boyfriend and I went here because I hadn’t been there yet. The food was pretty good till I founds a bone in my chicken salad. We didn’t wait very long to be seated. When we were looking over the menu the waitress was hovering a lot but I understand that she was just trying to make sure we were taken care of. I asked her for one more minute to decide what I wanted and one of the bigger gentleman had dried blood all over his face and seemed very unsanitary and unfriendly. He kept yelling the waitresses name across the restaurant and she would scream what back to him like she was annoyed. He seemed like he didn’t want to be there. The ceiling fans had half an inch of dust on them and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for years. The food was pretty good but the sides were super small. I understand being short staffed but take pride in what you do.

Another 5-star visit.
Every time I come in here the food is excellent and the price range reasonable. Some other lady posted that there wasn’t any meat on the Texas French dip. I almost had a half inch slice of meat on mine and ate it all, now I want a nap. LOL highly recommend them. Set out on the patio it was beautiful : )

The Kitchen Eatery has been my go to restaurant while eating out with family and friends for the last three years. I have spoken highly of the service and recommended them to anyone who asks what is good to eat locally. The service had generally been good despite the long wait times the food had generally been well worth the wait.

We had family come into town last night from out of state. They were looking at options over the hill and or going to the Chop House down the road. I was adamant that they try The Kitchen Eatery.

We arrived about an hour before close and were the only table that had not yet been served.
Our party of nine and placed our order within fifteen minutes of arriving. We had realized that we had arrived just before close and had agreed to tip the bill for the inconvenience to the staff. Our food took nearly forty-five minutes to be served. Each dish arriving one at a time over the course of about twenty minutes. We hurried to eat our food so that we did not keep them late. We finished our meal about fifteen minutes after closing.

I went to the restroom to wash my hands after eating some mangled ribs. As I was in the restroom I over heard the waitress and on of the cooks complaining about our party keeping them past close. I returned to the table and notified the other person paying in our party of what I had witnessed. Shortly after Jeff one of the owners came to our table and hurriedly asked us if we need any boxes to leave. They took a lofty amount of time to split the bill between two of us paying. I regretfully tipped the bill and notified Jeff of what I overheard his staff saying.

Jeff I hope you and your staff enjoy the generous tip as it will be the last time I dine in or refer anyone to your establishment.

Sincerely,

Michael Schilling-Faust

Today, me and my wife ate here and it’s not the first time. Today she had the Texas dip and I had the western double burger. The food was excellent, she stated the brisket was very flavorful and the potato salad was great, other then being eggy which she liked. My burger was very juicy and the bacon was crispy, how I enjoy. The only issue was the gentleman who took our order. We found his demeanor rude and as if he did not want to be there or didn’t like us. Granted, we had our son with us but a 6month old child does not run around nor get into things. His colleagues seemed very friendly and they were a bit busy, but it seems as if he didnt enjoy our visit. Also while paying, he handed my sign copy and left. Did not stick around or ask how the meal was, so I had to lay the copy on his side and left. Not sure I eat here again since this isn’t the first time, but it may be my last.

I was getting a vehicle fixed in town, so I walked and ate breakfast here. I ordered the Texas toast club breakfast sandwich with three meats and crispy husky potatoes. Excellent! It was only $7. Both owners, Mike and ?, came and talked to me to check on my service and quality of the food. It was refreshing to meet owners who take pride in what they do, and sell a product that is so affordable, and really underpriced. They do barbecue, prime rib meals, and to go order catering. I will be back often.

I liked it. Got the sampler platter and it was pretty good. Enjoyed the spicy BBQ sauce too. Only thing i didnt care for was that the chicken drumstick was a little dry. The other piece of chicken was fine.
We also bought a jar of in house pickles. They are really good.

I ordered a burger with chili on the side. Perfectly cooked and a nice presentation. I was pleased my glass of wine was also served properly! My husband tried the texas bbq beef sandwich and he enjoyed his as well as half of mine! The owner explained the nightly specials to us; we will be back to try those next!
