From the moment we walked in, the service at The Kitchen and Bakery was flawless. Our server greeted us warmly, delivered our order perfectly, checked in at just the right times, and even refilled our drinks without us having to ask. That kind of attentiveness is rare, and deeply appreciated.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. It’s the kind of cooking that reminds you of your mom or grandma’s kitchen, true comfort food that leaves you feeling full, happy, and cared for. The western omelette with their special sauce was a standout, bursting with flavor. The Frisco melt was a rare find, most places don’t offer it daily, and this one was made to perfection.
Even the sides were memorable. The asparagus was cooked exactly right, not mushy, not tough, just salty, savory, and delicious. And the coffee and hot chocolate were served at the perfect temperature, rich and satisfying.
This place doesn’t just serve food, it serves warmth, nostalgia, and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back.

Came in for breakfast after going to Sunday mass. This was our first time at The Kitchen. We were welcomed by Reid and seated promptly. The food came out in a timely fashion and our meals were spot on. Reid was very attentive to our table, coming back multiple times to see if everything was ok and if we needed anything else. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals and the atmosphere in the restaurant. We will be back again.

I just moved to Avon Lake and came to The Kitchen for the first time. What an incredible brunch my boyfriend and I shared together, and the friendliest staff ever. Kyle was so helpful and made our time at the restaurant fun. I highly recommend coming here for the perfect breakfast/brunch food.

We had a great breakfast experience, and Lexi was the highlight of our visit. She was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything from the moment we sat down. The food came out hot and exactly how we ordered it, and she checked in just the right amount without being overbearing.

Really bad experience here. I wanted to try a different spot for brunch. However, my fiance and I were seated first before other customers got into this restaurant 10 minutes later after we did and so on. My fiance and I started to notice other customers were receiving their food first before us ,when we were the ones seated and our food order was completed before them. To the point I had to ask the server how long until we get our food because we see other people getting their food first. Bout nearly walked out. We waited for little over a hour for food as we watch other people recieve their food first. I did not like the attitude, service, or the atmosphere at this place. We will not be back. Definitely started to feel like it’s because my fiance is Hispanic.

When I walked in the blonde hair girl rolled her eyes at me and walked away. I waiting 5 mins for someone even to come to me even thought they both seen me standing there. I could tell I was a bother so I just waiting. After 5 mins I said excuse me and she replied what? I said I’m here for a pickup. She said out tablet isn’t working correctly so your gonna have to wait. I told her that was fine. The food looks amazing! The place is pretty nice and clean. Just must have came when the workers were having personal problems. Rude to the max. Other than that it was nice. Good prices!!
