The place inside was very nice, great atmosphere to relax and dine. The food was delicious! They have so many options and variety. We got shredded pork with garlic and Mongolian beef. Good portions! Everyone was so attentive and so kind. Their Thai tea is legit! Will definitely be coming back!

Okay, so I first ate here back around Christmas and have been consistently coming back since!!
Today’s order consisted of
– chicken fried rice
– green beans (add garlic)
– egg drop soup (small)
– steam dumplings
– lemon black tea
Everything was a a 5 out of 5!! So good!! We did takeout and it was still so hot! I didn’t get a chance to take photos before I tore into all the food but try any of those and you will not be disappointed!!

Customer service was great! The young lady was soo helpful and nice. We only waited a short while for our cooked to order food. The inside of the establishment was very clean and orderly. Very quiet and serene. The food was carry out and when we got home we immediately tore into the bag. Mongolian Beef lunch special with LoMein, egg drop soup and egg roll. We got the Shrimp fried rice and Salt and Pepper Shrimp too. All of this came to around $60, this place isn’t cheap and neither is the food. I was expecting to pay a little more because I knew it would be made to order and good quality.
The salt n pepper shrimp was very tasty and has a light and crispy coating, it’s a little salty which is what I like so it was right up my alley. Mongolian beef was tender and tasty with slightly crunchy sautéed onion, this was my niece’s favorite! The Shrimp fried rice was tasty and loaded with big shrimp! The egg roll and egg drop soup was good also.
I must mention that I found this place while searching for alternatives to The Great Wall restaurant which used to be a good spot. Now I have replaced them with this spot and it’s closer to home. I can tell this will be my go to spot. I wish I would’ve found them sooner. EXCELLENT!!!!

For the positives, the place is nicely decorated and quaint. The service was awful. Not trying to be awful, but there is a language barrier and we ordered and didn’t receive two items. She got sassy with us and said she repeated our order to us and those two items were not ordered, but they were. It’s okay though cause I saved $25 dollars on what would have been subpar versions of food I know. The meats offered sounded like typical Chinese things I’d order, but everything was bland and these folks use so much cornstarch in their slurries it made all the meat gloopy and unappetizing. The best thing we had was their Singaporean noodles. Everything else was lesser versions of known Chinese favorites. I won’t come here again. Great Wall is 10 times better.

The House combo lo mein, salt/pepper pork & Honey walnut shrimps are tasty, but the shrimps could’ve more for the price. The interior of the restaurant has good vibes.

Liked the food. Served on paper plates and paper cups in a dine in restaurant? Didn’t like that. 1 electronic menu to share with 3 people? Didn’t like that either. Didn’t like the food enough to put up with all of that.

Best Chinese place in the AV. We have a lot of good Thai places, but not many full menu Chinese places that are good.
I’m so glad The Kirin Hut is open again. I highly recommend their curry Singapore noodles empress chicken and lemon chicken.
