I can’t rate the atmosphere as someone else’s picked this up. It came very hot, portions were small for the price and my curry tofu was chicken I can’t have. Called to let them know & was told to return the chicken & they would give me the right order, NO onion, tofu with extra tofu. Unfortunately I got extra onion I can’t eat instead of extra tofu. I didn’t want to call back. The food was delicious, no issues yet the order wrong twice I wasn’t thrilled with. If ordering pick up, check your order before leaving. Two stars off for the two wrong orders and added driving. In the pic you can see all the onion.

Stopped here for an early dinner, and asked the server to order for me – something not spicy so my old man stomach wouldn’t keep me awake tonight. I was served the Pad Kra Pao Kai Dao. It was wonderful – or at least the 3 bites I could ate before having to send it back – wow was it jalapenos hot! It wouldn’t have been a problem to just exchange it, but after waiting several minutes for the server to come and check on the food, I ended up carrying my plate to the cash register to send it back. It was replaced with a very tasty but innocuous shrimp with snow peas – a simple dish that was very good. The salad with chicken – the Thai Salad Bowl I believe – was very good too. The restroom earns a 6 out of 10 – a little messy and the floor sticky, but it did have paper towels rather than a blower.

Quick service. Ample portions. My meal, when ordering elsewhere, am asked for degree of spice. It was not anywhere near what I expected as it was not spicy at all. The place could use a little refresh as walls and tables looked a bit worn.

I used to come here when it was The Taste of Thailand. King’s is awful!!! The food wasn’t done, the egg rolls were dripping with oil, the pork that they use to stuff the chicken wings was not cooked all the wall and it was chunks of raw pork that was tuff and gross. The ONLY they didn’t ruin was the cream cheese wonton. This place used to have such great food….so extremely disappointed and it was like 40.00 of food that I left on the table!! NEVER AGAIN!!

I’ve been a customer of this restaurant for 20 years in all of it’s changes since 2005. Locations remodel was a huge improvement to the atmosphere. Before these changes, we never ‘ate in’ but now we sometimes do eat in the restaurant and the service is great.
My new favorite is S58 Khao Nam; crispy coconut rice with sour pork and fantastic seasoning! 5 stars for sure. If you like a little ‘flavor’ heat order medium spice level otherwise the flavors are a little bit Minnesota Nice. Great Thai food integrating many amazing flavors!

We got spring rolls, Tom yum soup, and vegetarian red curry.
Neither of us liked either of the main dishes. The soup had only a few chunks of squid and shrimp, very little to actually eat.
The curry had the worst tasting potatoes we’ve had, the tofu and bell peppers were not great, and the plain white rice was the best part of the meal.

My family and I ate at The King’s Thai Cuisine in Fridley, and it was truly some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had. We started with the cream cheese puffs, and they were so incredible we immediately ordered a second round. We also tried the Pad Thai and the Green Curry—both were packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. On top of the amazing food, the service was excellent. We will definitely be back

Stopped by for lunch, decent location and easy to get in an out.
Had a beef lab, spicy – was OK. Didn’t have a lot of basil or cilantro. It was spicy but was mainly from dried peppers versus fresh.
Ordered a thai tea – it was good but came in a small plastic 8 oz cup, filled with 1/2 ice so the value wasn’t there.
OK, might give it another try but not on my top list.

I’ve been here twice, and I’m definitely coming back!!! The food was on point! Everything came out so delicious!!
The papaya salad (extra spicy) is my all time
Favorite now in the twin cities!!
If you want great Thai/lao food, this is the place! They have reasonable prices too!
Also a bonus, the waitress is always so sweet!
Thanks King Thai! ❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The calamari was very soft. The dipping sauce that came with it was not your ordinary dipping sauce. It smelled fishy and garlicky, not too spicy but actually worked really well with the squid. Service was great. The acoustics of the place wasn’t the best. It was too noisy for my taste. I love the place, big tall windows on all 3 sides. I would definitely go back.
