This place is right next to home very clean and organize organized.
Compliment to the chef the crawfish was delicious. The fries were on point and the garlic noodles were fantastic. Oysters were very good as well.
The only thing is they were under Staff and it took a while for our receipt and water. There was only one cooked that day too there was mix in our food but they fix it.
Overall, great experience I will be coming back. Ty

We had a mixed experience at our date night here today.
The decor is very cute, and had a good vibe. I also think overall their price range is very reasonable. Each of our boil bags came out to around $45-50.
However, my bf and I had very different food experiences. Bf loved his bag and the size and quality of his items, and said the kickin sauce was the best boil sauce he had had. Mine, as someone who can’t handle spice, was abysmal for what I paid. I got the garlic butter and am not kidding when I say it tasted like water. It needed salt, herbs, garlic, literally anything. I asked the waitress for lemons and that made it more edible, but for $45 it was a very poor experience. Also, one of my snow crab clusters was a lot fresher and higher quality than the other.
Service was also a bit slow. I’d say we waited over half an hour for our food, and had trouble getting the waitress’s attention.
I feel like I wasted my money. Bf said his was the best he’s had. That’s why I’m ending with a middle rating for this place.

Had an amazing seafood boil here recently. We started with fresh oysters, and they were super clean and briny — tasted like they were straight from the coast.
The live crawfish were cooked perfectly and had great flavor, not overdone at all. We also got the shrimp with the medium spicy sauce, and it was the perfect balance of heat and buttery seasoning. The sauce soaked into everything and made the whole meal so satisfying.
Madison was our server and she was fantastic — super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time.
Portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and the overall vibe was fun and messy in the best way. Definitely coming back the next time I’m craving seafood.

We visited the new Kickin’ Crab location in Plano and the place looks amazing—very clean, brand new, spacious, and chic. The atmosphere is great and it’s a really nice addition to the area. Roxy was very kind, helpful, and provided excellent service, which we truly appreciated.
The food was okay overall. The shrimp quality wasn’t the best this time, something felt a bit off with the Kickin’ style sauce, and the Cajun fries weren’t the same as their usual signature Cajun fries we’re used to. That said, we still enjoyed the experience and hope these are just opening-phase kinks that get worked out. We’d come back again.

Kickin’ Crab in Plano has a clean, updated space with simple seafood decor and a fun vibe. Our server, Roxy, was friendly and attentive, and the food came out really fast.
We ordered fish tacos, Cajun fries, chicken tenders, clam chowder, a snow crab special (with potato, corn, and sausage), and king crab. Quick heads-up though: even with the fast service, we had to wait to eat because the cracking tools at the table were dirty.
The biggest letdown was the boil flavor. The liquid seasoning in the bag was pretty bland, and the garlic butter sauce was also lacking which stung a little since it costs $2 extra. I also thought they forgot my potato, but it was in the bag and so overcooked it was basically mashed. The bright spot was the sausage. It was the star of the boil and cooked perfectly with great flavor.
We understand king crab is market price, but the claw looked small and the sauce in both the snow crab and king crab bags was minimal.
Overall, good service and a nice-looking spot, but they need to level up the flavor, sauce amount, and cleanliness of the tools, especially for the price.

The ambience of this place is very aesthetic! The server was prompt in taking our order. We were greeted right when we walked in. We ordered #3 Kickin deal. Everything was cooked to perfection! Shrimp peeled easily, crab meat came out of its shell easily, and the crawfish was delicious! We’d definitely come back!

This is the nicest Kickin’ Crab out of all the locations. There’s never a wait. It’s very clean. The food is consistent like the other Kickin’ Crabs. Kickin’ Crab’s sauce has a nice buttery, garlicky, citrus flavor profile. The boiled seafood is cooked well. There’s nothing more frustrating than overcooked shrimp that sticks to the shell. Kid friendly and our kids love the garlic noodles with shrimp. Our server was Maggie and she was great.

The ambiance is amazing, food is decent- Garland location’s portions and seasonings are more flavorful- but not bad. The music was great and the waiter was good. Now my complaints is they charged me for this garlic butter which I literally dipped an egg in it and didn’t like it and it wasn’t what I asked for. I wanted just plain melted butter. I sent the butter back and asked for melted butter. Waiter came back and said I will be charged for both. WHAT? I am like ok will bring it back so I can have them both since I am paying for to them. He proceeded to say he threw it out and I “ate it”. No I tasted it- there’s a huge difference. Needless to say I paid for it and it reflected in his tip. I will give this place a try again, however, Garland will be my primary location for seafood even though it’s further away.

The food tastes nothing like what you’d expect from the same name — Carrollton. it was honestly hard to swallow. On top of that, the service is a disaster. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty at 6 PM, the staff were just playing on their phones and ignoring customers. Extremely slow and unprofessional.

I’ve visited the new Kickin’ Crab location in Plano a couple of times now. The food itself is great — the wings were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and fresh. The seafood and sides were also delicious, just like other Kickin’ Crab locations.
However, the to-go packaging and hygiene need serious improvement. On my most recent visit, I ordered cheesecake to go, and they placed it open inside the bag with no cover at all. When I asked for a box (like they gave me the first time), they said that was a “mistake” and refused to give me one. Instead, they wrapped it in plastic wrap, which is not hygienic or appropriate for a dessert.
Also, the crab legs bag wasn’t sealed properly, and my wife had to use a clip while driving just to close it. For seafood, proper sealing is important for both freshness and cleanliness. It really shouldn’t leave the restaurant like that.
Also, the prices at this Plano location are about the same as the Uptown (Highland) location, even though Plano isn’t an Uptown area. It’s actually closer to the Garland location, which offers noticeably lower prices. The higher pricing here doesn’t really make sense for this area.
Overall, the food quality is great, but the hygiene, packaging care, and pricing need improvement. With better consistency and attention to detail, this new location could easily become one of the best.
