We’ve been to Keg Ajax several times for all our special occasions and this location doesn’t disappoint.
I always order the 18 ounce prime rib classic with twice baked potato side at all the Keg locations I go to and it’s always a hit but at this location, it tastes even better! The meat just melts on your tongue!
Price-wise, keg size (2oz) cocktails are $18 each, appetizers are about $20 each, steak dishes range from $37 for 6oz top sirloin to $57 for 18oz prime rib and desserts are around $12 per slice.
Something that I didn’t know, that’s not on the menu, they offer a 24 ounce prime rib option for just $10 more. It’s totally worth the upgrade!
Service is what you would expect, exceptional. The servers always take care of all your needs without you having to ask. They’re pretty consistent with this across all their staff.
This location is always pretty busy, so definitely make reservations ahead of time. Parking is not usually a problem but sometimes you have to walk a bit to get to the restaurant. Their bathroom is clean.
If you’re a Keg lover like us, this location is a step above the rest. I highly recommend! Definitely order the prime rib with the twice baked potato!

Decided to take a chance 1 day after valentine’s day to have dinner. Was able to make a reservation but kind of wished we stayed home and saved our money. This is the second time this year we ate at the keg and it was no better this time around.
Steak first time was disappointing for both of us. So second ti.e decided on the blackened chicken. The seasoning on the chicken was overdone and extremely salty. I’m not one to send food back because you never know what you’ll get back in return. Portion sizes have definitely fallen off but prices have gone up. Appetizer, 2 drinks and dinner just under $200 with tip.
The only good experience was our waitress who was very friendly and made our experience worthwhile.
We will definitely not be going back as we believe the quality and care has absolutely gone down.

We were visiting from out of town and decided to go to The Keg at the last minute. Thankfully, we were able to get same-day dinner reservations. Our waiter, Chris, was fantastic. He was friendly, patient, and genuinely funny, which made the experience even better. We especially loved the atmosphere at this location compared to the ones in our hometown. It was beautifully lit, had great music, and was tastefully decorated for Christmas. As always, the food did not disappoint. We ordered the calamari, teriyaki, and filet mignon, and everything was cooked to perfection.

We enjoyed our experience at Keg. The waiter was very attentive to accommodate our group of people. Although there are plenty reviews about their steaks I wanted to add my experience with the order I had. The food was served quick although it was a busy Sunday. The lobster was very well cooked and the meat dishes came exactly as we ordered as everyone in our group made special requests. They made sure there was no mixed up when serving the food, but in the exact order which surprised me. I really liked their desserts. Our waiter was very attentive all time making sure nothing was missing. All the waiters who served were very professional.

Stopped in during happy hour for drinks and bites, which turned into dinner. The Old Fashioned and Espresso Martini were both excellent and tasty.
The chicken leaned a bit sweet for my taste, but it wasn’t bad—just not my preferred flavour profile.

I had wanted a steak for some time, and if you follow, you’ll see I just was at the London Keg and had an incredible meal with all bites loved! I saw this near our hotel and tried this spot for a guaranteed meal. There are no guarantees as my grandma used to say.
I went with a special of braised beef, and the special of the sticky toffee pudding as I had tried the pudding before and it was incredible. The braised beef was just ok. Smallish serving, especially knowing how cheap short ribs are to buy compared to a steak. The meat was overdone and full of uncooked fat, which means too much heat for too short of time. Rarely do I like my own beef more than the Keg, this fell short. My partner had a delicious tenderloin with the blue cheese garlic topper.
Is it me or has that topper changed significantly. There is hardly and blue cheese anymore. Last week i had the special sirloin and it had blue cheese butter which was much better. Hopefully they keep that as an option.
The desert was a failure. Came in a cast iron mini plate and was ice cold. No one mentioned that it was supposed to be heated up? I ate it, but wasn’t happy about it. Place was busy and our waitress was working the bar, great service, but I learned my lesson. Specials at the Keg are not always that. I didn’t mention to the server or anyone else as we were done and wanted to leave. Just putting it here if you’re considering it. If you want proof, check my pics from a couple weeks ago, the pudding was super hot and amazing.

Went for dinner last night, and it was okay. I was there with my husband and my two small children. The appetizers were good but the burger was awful. It was dry and lacking flavour, the meat was pale. I sent the burger back as I was not going to eat it. The potatoes were great.

We came in for my mom’s birthday on Friday Feb 8th, the restaurant was super busy (as expected) but we got seated promptly at a great table! Amanda was our server and she was amazing and made my mom’s birthday very memorable! The food was also delicious as always! we will be back!

The food was delicious, but we waited close to an hour for our meals. The server was friendly and knowledgeable, but took almost 10 minutes to bring water to the table, and didn’t come back again until we were finished eating to deliver the bill.
The tables were so close together that we were basically on the first date with the couple beside us (yes, it was their first date and we learned all about their interests and hobbies).
