The Juicy Crab® story starts long before the opening of the Duluth, Georgia, first corporate restaurant in 2015. The Chen family’s inspiration ultimately came from New Orleans and the world travels of Grandfather Chen. Grandfather Chen was a sailor who traveled the world learning many different styles and ways of cooking seafood. One of the main influences that every family member loved was the New Orleans style of cooking seafood. Today, Juicy Crab Franchise has over 40 restaurants throughout the United States and is a market leader in the seafood restaurant service market.

wonderful experience at Juicy Crab; the atmosphere was inviting and upbeat. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Everything came out quickly, which made the experience even better. The drinks were just as amazing—refreshing and perfectly made!

What truly made my visit exceptional was my server, Andrea. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed from start to finish. Her positive attitude and outstanding service really stood out and made my night even more enjoyable. Andrea went above and beyond, and it did not go unnoticed!

I enjoyed my lunch here at the Juicy Crab. I arrived between 12 and 1 pm. There was no wait and plenty of tables open. I was sat within a few minutes and my waitress was immediately available. I placed my order and my food came out maybe 15 minutes later. It was quick, the food was delicious and the service was great. I will definitely be back.

I had an amazing experience at The Juicy Crab! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was packed with seasoning and the portions were generous, making it worth every penny.

What really made my visit stand out, though, was the service. A special shout-out to Destiny—she was incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive from start to finish. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, and her warmth and genuine care truly elevated the whole experience. It’s rare to find service that feels this personal and thoughtful, and Destiny made me feel so welcomed.

I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending The Juicy Crab to friends and family. Great food, amazing atmosphere, and service that makes you feel like a valued guest. Thank you, Destiny, for making my visit so special! Delicious!

I went to Juicy Crab to celebrate a friend’s birthday and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Our server, Andrea, provided some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant.

When we tried speaking to her, she would make faces and often avoided eye contact. At times, it felt like she purposely turned away when we were trying to get her attention. Basic things like refilling drinks or bringing straws were not done unless we repeatedly asked. She seemed to have an attitude throughout the entire visit, even though we were not asking for anything beyond what any normal table would expect.

What was especially disappointing was that she didn’t want to sing happy birthday to the birthday girl, which made the celebration feel awkward and unwelcoming.

The only reason I’m not giving one star is because another staff member stepped in and helped us when it became clear we were being ignored. That person was attentive and professional, and we truly appreciated the assistance.

Overall, I’ve never felt so poorly taken care of in a restaurant. I hope management addresses this, as customer service should never make guests feel uncomfortable or unwelcome.

I love going to this location. I always request Brittney as my server she is the best very attentive and down to earth. She always makes my kids day by giving them stickers. My food is always good and correct just the way I like it. Totally recommend.

We were a party of 4, Brittney was our server and she was not attentive at all. She never went to check on us, if she would’ve gone she would have seen that we were in need of refills. She spent most of her time on her phone and towards the end of our meal a whole other person had to give us our bill because we asked for it. The food was good but she is not a good server. You can tell does not care for that job or to even be there, she also had a mean mug the whole time she brought us our food. At one point we tried to get her attention because 3 out of 4 of us needed drink refills and she was on her phone and did not hear us nor even turn to look at us.

Corissa’s customer service is truly exceptional! From the moment I was assisted, she was warm, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to make sure every question I had was answered and that I felt completely taken care of. Her professionalism is unmatched, and her positive attitude made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Employees like Corissa are rare — she genuinely cares, listens, and delivers outstanding service every single time. The service was terrible from start to finish. Our waiter, Brittney, had a nasty attitude and acted like checking on her table was optional. After we got our drinks, she disappeared. Once the food came out, we didn’t see her for a good 45 minutes. We were stuck eating with empty drinks and had to hunt her down just to get a refill. She stayed in the back, barely spoke, and kept walking off mid-conversation. The lack of basic customer service and social skills was crazy.

On top of that, while we were eating, we overheard Brittney and her coworker talking rude about guests and pointing at people. That’s unprofessional and disrespectful. If you don’t like people, don’t work in customer service.

The food itself was okay, but the portions? Trash. I ordered 0.5 lb of shrimps and only got nine. That’s not half a pound, that’s a sample. And it wasn’t just my bag but my friends too.

I’ve been to multiple Juicy Crabs all over Metro Atlanta, and this one is by far the worst. Bad service, weak portions, and a whole lotta attitude. Never again.

I come here often, and the food is always so good—well-seasoned and fresh every time. The staff is super sweet and checks on you regularly. Shana especially is amazing! She always welcomes you with a smile, makes sure your food comes out quickly, and gives the best customer service. Love her!

I had an incredible dining experience at The Juicy Crab, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waitress, Shana. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, patient, and on top of everything.

Shana helped us pick the perfect seasoning and spice level for our seafood boil, and she checked on us often without ever being overbearing. Our food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor — the shrimp, crab legs, corn, and potatoes were all cooked perfectly.

What really stood out was Shana’s attitude. She had great energy, answered all our questions, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. She made the experience feel personal and genuinely enjoyable.

If you go to The Juicy Crab, ask for Shana — she’ll take care of you! I’ll definitely be returning.
