Wild game charcuterie board. Elk sausage and possibly something else? No one working could really give us a rundown of what was on the board.(not even the kid that made it) Very underwhelming for $45.
Chimi garlic fries. Fries were crispy but over seasoned. Chimi sauce was good. Very light, if any garlic flavoring in the aioli. Forgot to add the shaved beef that is an option.
Pickled beet and goat cheese salad with chicken. Good salad. Nothing that sets it apart from any other beet salad. Not sure way it came out last. ♂️
Didn’t try any of the wine. It’s set up so you can self pour your own wine from different options. Not sure the process to do that. From other reviews it seems complicated.
Beer menu has been downsized to a dozen different options.
Apparently is used to be quite extensive with many more options then we were given. No darks, no IPA’s. Just basic beers.
Was really excited to try it out but didn’t live up to the 4.5 stars.
Service was meh. Too busy on their phone or just bs’ing at the bar. Had to ask for more beers and our bill.
Food was ok overall except for the charcuterie.
Don’t recommend it for lunch. Maybe dinner service is better. Can’t say we will ever find out.
The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, the crowd was incredible, and the staff treats both guests and performers with genuine care and professionalism. That kind of respect makes a huge difference on the road. I also noticed they do regular entertainment that’s worth checking out!
If you’re in Bismarck, don’t miss this spot. I’ll gladly be back every chance I get. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The self-serve wine area is very poorly positioned. They placed it at the tightest spot in the restaurant, inevitably causing you to be in the way of any guests or servers trying to maneuver around the place while you peruse their wine selection.
The wines themselves are over-priced, making the tastings rather pointless, unless you want to sample a few single ounce servings.
Service was slow despite there only being one group aside from mine. And my food came out 10 minutes before my girlfriend’s.
The Elk Sausage and Asiago Gnocchi I got was very good (unfortunately the only good part of our experience here), albeit small. My girlfriend got the Beef and Pork Ragu which was terrible. Much of the pasta in this dish was crunchy.
The music was all over the place with staff skipping songs sometimes after a minute into the song. It was also quite loud.
We ended up spending $87 for the two of us for a sincerely disappointing experience.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt I had to let the future potential customers, as well as the business know that this place has a lot to work on.
1. Completely disorganized.
2. I had to go and find someone to seat us after waiting for 20 minutes by the front door. No one even acknowledged us when we walked in.
3. The food was cold and not refilled as often as it should have been.
4. Certain dishes were not set out at all
5. There was literally no one serving us. I had to get up and ask for silverware, find plates and everything.
6. They put onions in 9/10 of their dishes so I could barely eat anything due to my allergy.
7. There was mold in the berries that were set out.
8. I can’t believe I’m paying $60+ for this experience.
9. Wasn’t child friendly. Didn’t have a baby highchair.
10. Staff was more concerned about staying in the back and washing dishes then serving their customers. I could have made a better mothers day meal at home that would have been warm. But wanted to treat myself since I haven’t gone out to eat since before my baby was born.
The food was amazing. So much attention to detail. There are no words to describe it. You need to check it out for yourself.
