I normally enjoy this location but today, 12/6/25, we showed up at 6:40 and the shop was closed. The sign clearly says they close at 8pm. The employee was in there on his phone. I understand Saturday’s can be slow, but of youre closed, shouldn’t your employees not be in the shop? Why are you paying your employees to sit in the shop when your shop is closed?
If its a case of running out of food, just put a sign out stating this.

Terrible service. PREPAID for my food online at 1:30pm to be picked up at 6:30pm. Got there at 6:35pm and NO ONE was there. Their door AND online said they were open until 7pm. They had 5 hours to call me and let me know that I needed to come early. No call, no email, NOTHING. I emailed to request a refund, which they did.. but no response or apology. Unacceptable.

Food had no seasoning. It literally was gravy, soaked spaghetti with sausage and chicken. They have a big old sign outside that says that they have seafood went inside. They had no seafood the cashier rudely told us we don’t have any seafood or we have is chicken and sausage when asked well why does your menu show that you have seafood options he replied we just don’t have it right now was extremely expensive to eat spaghetti with gravy Definitely will not come back here again there’s nothing authentic about the food whatsoever huge waste of money

They have horrible customer service didn’t ask how or we doing didn’t tell us about the deals I paid more for one thing gumbo of gumbo then my coworkers got a whole five course meal +gumbo for cheeper then the rice had bugs in it when I said something no one apologized or asked if there’s was anything they could do to help or experience better

Had them twice now.
Lots of rice & liquid smoke. You’re lucky to find a scoop with chicken or sausage (you’ll be digging a while).
It’s great if you’re trying to feed a big group and don’t want to be asked to feed them again, or if you’re carb loading before a big race.
Do not let a visitor to Louisiana think this is jambalaya.

This place is awesome. We need one in South Mississippi. I can only speak to the chicken and sausage jambalaya and white beans. But, what I’ve had has been great. Quick service, quick order fulfillment, hot tasty jambalaya. The chicken and sausage are excellently flavored.
