I always hope that every new restaurant succeeds—that’s genuinely what I want for them. But unfortunately, statistically and realistically, that’s often not the case. This was a perfect example of a missed opportunity in a neighborhood that desperately needs a good restaurant to fill that void.
Unfortunately, not only does that void remain, it may actually feel larger after the experience we had here. From the salmon that tasted like it was sourced from Costco to the overcooked short rib, “lackluster” doesn’t begin to express our disappointment. We’re giving one star only because the system requires at least one, but you can decide for yourself whether it’s worth the effort of even stepping through the door.

The food was delicious and service was amazing. The chef and his wife who are owners of the restaurant are remarkably nice people. The appetizers and salads were delicious and the presentation was excellent. Every single main dish was authentic and mouthwatering. We have been to Italy many times and we were always craving for authentic Italian food. We felt like we were back in Italy. The pasta was al dente, just the way we like it. That is precisely how pasta is served in Italy. The cannoli and tiramisu were out of this world .We will be back and we will bring many of our friends and family to this beautiful new Italian restaurant.

My Eggplant Cake was super. The service was efficient while being friendly and making our party feel at home. We lingered longer than usual enjoying coffee and sharing desserts. We plan to return next week. I plan to have Eggplant cake again despite the rave reviews my friends gave for the Salmon and the Vodka Penne.

I truly loved the food at The Italian Table. The pasta was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the appetizers were just as delicious. The service was excellent and made the whole experience even better. I also love supporting small, family owned businesses, and this is one I will absolutely be returning to. There are so many great options on the menu, and I cannot wait to come back and try more.

We’re so happy this restaurant came to Hopewell! The food is fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish was impressive, including the dessert, which was absolutely delicious. We especially loved the use of fresh pasta—it really made a difference. We ordered the bruschetta, caprese salad, penne vodka, shrimp fra diavolo, cheese ravioli, salmon, pasta caprese, tiramisu, and cannoli. The service was incredible, and we can’t wait to come back.

This is the kind of place that leaves you looking forward to your next visit! The food is outstanding (it is obvious they use only the highest quality ingredients). The atmosphere was warm, cozy and inviting. We had excellent service and the owners are so friendly & clearly passionate about what they do. An outstanding Italian Family owned restaurant is now right here in Hopewell!!! The Italian Table serves the most delicious & authentic Italian specialities, at a reasonable cost. We have eaten here twice since its recent opening and every dish is truly outstanding!!! The husband and wife owners are warm and friendly which adds to the restaurants charm. The Italian Table is truly a perfect “gem” and a wonderful addition to Hopewell!. HIGHLY recommend for a superb dining experience for lunch, dinner or take out. An added bonus is it’s BYOB!! We are so very fortunate to have an Italian restaurant of this high caliber right here in town.

I appreciate the remodeling of the restaurant and the pleasant atmosphere that has been created but ultimately a restaurant is judged by the food it serves. With all due respect to those that have written about how authentic the Italian food is, I would say that you’ve never been to Italy or at the very least a real quality Italian restaurant
All the pasta dishes at our table were simply too sweet regardless of the sauce. A tell tale sign of appealing to the American palate!! At the best I can only say the meal was mediocre
