NoVA Foodies recommended this location for Italian subs so I decided to check it out. I got the Milano, which was good, but I felt it was missing something. Like bite/spice. I can’t knock it though. It was still a fantastic sub. The store itself it impressive. They have a HUGE selection of Italian goods. I bought many of their frozen pastas. Once I break them open and try them I’ll update this review but upon my initial impression I’d 100% recommend a visit.

The sub here is absolutely fantastic! I really enjoyed Capri, and I’ve heard that their pizza is also wonderful!

I love when I’m going to be in this area, I never miss an opportunity to drop by the Italian Store. I’m a Jersey Girl, and this store definitely has the right stuff! For shopping for grabbing lunch, it’s a hit every single time. I love the sub sandwiches. Brings me back home. Service is always good. Always buy more than I intend to and never regret a bit of it.

Well known for their sandwiches, pizzas, and Italian items.

They have grab and go sandwiches ready for you when you arrive. Their pizza, in my humble opinion, is one of the best in the DMV.

You will enjoy their food, their ambiance in the store, and the discovery of Italian items that the store offers.

Enjoy!

Absolutely the best pizza. Great selection of wine, although I was disappointed they had nothing from the Molise region. Still brought home an interested half case!

This is the first time I have come in here in years and it’s exactly how I remember. The product mix is surprisingly large for its small footprint and they have really interesting stuff that I don’t think I have seen in any major grocery store outside of maybe Jungle Jim’s. Also the service was quick and friendly and the Pizza is really good. If you’re into Italian cooking or really like pizza I definitely recommend coming here. I will definitely try to stop by again.

This place is a hidden gem in Arlington. I was looking for Guanciale, a unique piece to make a carbonara pasta and I found it here. Plus a vast variety of wines and other Italian products. The owner and the staff are very friendly and informative. Highly recommended

When you’re longing for a great Italian sub, this is the only place to go in the DMV. Crusty rolls filled with thin sliced meats and all the fixings (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, hot and sweet peppers) make a meal for two. My cousin tried the meatball sub and is arranging a trip back just so she can have it again.

Happened upon this place by accident. Pulled into the strip mall to get a Starbucks coffee and wamted to check the store out with my son who just finished a baseball tournament. Very nice clean store. Never been and didn’t know the process. Asked a few customers because the staff was rude as can be. I asked a woman behind the counter if she could guide me in the process of how to order. She pointed to a QR code. Like, WHAT????? So I attempted that and it didn’t work. I said can I please place an order? She sighed and rolled her eyes. I ordered a small Capri and my son got the Calabrese canzone. The woman took my name and last initial. I paid $28.99. We waited for 20 minutes when I asked a young man how I would be notified a kut my order. He said your canzone just came out I’ll bring it out in a minute. Another 10 minutes go by and I go to the woman who took my order and ask about our food. She hands me my sub that has been sitting there the whole time next to the cash register. And acts annoyed that she had to do something. We again ask the young man where our calzone is and he finally brings it out but without the marinara sauce that we paid $0.75 for. And he precedes to act annoyed that he has to go in the back to get it. The food was delicious but sadly I will NOT be going back because of how terrible the service was. I even bought fresh mozzarella and garlic knots. Whatever happened to customer service especially in a food industry restaurant.

They expect you to buy pre-made Italian subs that have been sitting on the counter for who knows how long instead of a fresh sub. We had to ask twice before they made us a fresh sandwich.
Why would anyone want to eat warm cold cuts and cheese? It’s unappetizing and unsafe.
