As of Jan 20, 2024 this restaurant appears to be closed. A huge AVAILABLE sign hangs on the building and when i called no answer.

Previous review – Haven’t been to this restaurant in over 10 years.

If I remember correctly you used to get bread and olive oil while waiting for your food? Not this time, maybe that’s a change. I didn’t ask since we were ordering an appetizer. But if someone can confirm I’d appreciate it.

Ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer and was not impressed. Usually I’ll scarf down some artichoke dip but I didn’t even care to finish this. It felt lacking in some sense that I couldn’t out my finger on.

My dinner company and I, each ordered the Mamas trio. A massive sized sampler of Fettuccine Alfredo (I added mushrooms to mine), a healthy portion of Lasagna and a decent sized Chicken Parm.

I also order a side of Brussels Sprouts and my friend order a Ceaser salad.

We had so much food leftover. One Mamas trio is plenty to share. Especially if you order sides to go with it as it does not come with anything other than the “trio”.

The food overall was OK. I expected a bit more.

The service was also OK. Our waitress was personable. And I understand she was waiting on the bar but it took a long while before we got the wine we ordered. There were menus that just sat on the floor our entire visit which was super tacky! Let’s play the guess how many employees walked by and didn’t pick them up game! I was tempted to pick them up myself! LOTS of room for improvement here.

May be (probably) another decade before I return.

The food was very tasty and well plated. Our waitress was pleasant and helpful. Covering the nice wood tables with large sheets of white paper is a bit strange. Supposed to be for doodling, but it kept curling under my arms, and most adults don’t doodle while eating. I’m sure the kids like it though. Prices were reasonable. A very nice restaurant.
The inside is very nice. The ramp outside needs to be repaired. It has needed it for at least a year.

My husband and I ate here since it’s near-by and we were craving pasta.

Appetizers:
I enjoyed the mozzarella bites. The breading had a light flavor and texture which was nice. The marinara sauce was excellent!

The bruschetta was good, I liked that the bread was chargrilled. They currently have a $13 for two on select appetizers which was nice!

Shrimp Portofino:
I really enjoyed my entree! The sauce was good, there wasn’t an overwhelming amount of pine nuts, the spinach was perfectly sautéd and the shrimps were huge and juicy. My only critique would be that the capellini were broken so it was difficult to grab, even with fork + spoon.

Penne Rústica:
My husband didn’t thoroughly enjoy his dish. He liked the sauce and the chicken but whatever they garnish on the top, was very strong in flavor and not in a good way. Tasted sour, fermented. I believe it was a bell pepper garnish with cheese.

I tried it, it was strong. I am use to strong flavors and I can see how it could be off-putting. It was borderline.

He didn’t like the prosciutto. I didn’t try it but it looked like tough, chewy pieces.

Our Waitstaff was very kind, sweet & helpful.

Wonderful experience for date night. Our server seated us immediately and was very polite, attentive, and friendly. My husband ordered a beer and I ordered the cocktail “skinny Margarita” which we received almost immediately. We ordered the stuff mushrooms and the calamari fritti which was brought out to us within ten minutes. The appetizers were fresh, seasoned amazingly, and a delight. For our main courses, I ordered the mushroom ravioli which was devine with flavor, texture, and portion. My husband ordered the shrimp portofino that tasted utterly delicious that makes your taste buds dance with a good size portion. My husband got another beer and I ordered the frosè which tasted of a strawberry sherbet, so good!! For dessert I ordered the decadent chocolate cake with was so rich, smooth and tasty. My husband ordered the New York style cheesecake that tasted of a smooth strawberry shortbread with the cookies. Everything was clean, great lighting, and professional staff. Definitely coming back again and recommending to everyone.

I don’t like giving such bad reviews but this place was so disappointing. The complimentary bread & dip was AMAZING & the bib & blue salad was good but my entree & my wife’s entree were not good at all. We both took a few bites & asked for the check & the waitress asked us if we want boxes & we said no. So she asked if we didn’t like it so we then told her we didn’t. She apologized & said they’re giving us half off the bill but our check still ended up being $30 somehow…even tho we only had 2 side salads & sent back our entrees after she asked us. Very disappointing. We won’t be back. Also having to listen to one of the waitresses swear/yelling across the dining room at the manager/coworker was a real turnoff.

First time going here. I’d always been curious about them and so had my friends that joined me with their kiddos. I’ll start by saying everyone was super friendly and random workers in the kitchen said goodbye as we left. Very nice. Also appreciate they honor Veterans for a free meal on Veteran’s day. However, we didn’t have a good experience there. We were told it was no wait when I called ahead. When we arrived 20 mins later, we checked in and they said they just needed to bus a table and they’d be able to seat us in like 10 ish mins. It was way longer than that, Pbly nearly 25-30 mins. Then we were seated and they forgot to come start serving us for at least another 20 ish minutes, including not even asking us about drinks and bringing us the water we wanted. Multiple times another guy asked if we’d been served and we said no and he tried to go find someone but no one came. They switched us to a new server and that young server when he finally showed up was well-intentioned but clearly flustered/overwhelmed. Our food took a really long time and it arrived barely lukewarm, practically cold. Cold spaghetti and meatballs is not appetizing at all. Calamari appetizer was not very good taste (bland in my opinion) and cooked way too tough. Food we ordered was just ok, not amazing flavor, definitely wouldn’t go back and didn’t think it was worth the money it should’ve costed on their menus. The bottom
Of the Kids pizza was soggy. Kids Alfredo pasta was just ok (but admittedly it’s a kids meal so I know they simplify it). Didn’t even seem like it was that busy of a night for them but they just seemed to be struggling. I hope we caught them on a really bad night (because otherwise I don’t know how they stay in business) but I still won’t be trying them again. I and my friends agreed we can make better spaghetti meatballs for a lot cheaper ourselves and have our food served faster too!

UPDATE: Still Have yet to hear back from them after I went to their site to report the feedback per their request below in their reply back to me. Very disappointing and feels like a major waste of my time if they were just going to ignore me again.

The staff were good and the restaurant was clean with wonderful atmosphere.
I haven’t been to one for 11 years, but back then the Pasta Milano was so good I tried to imitate it at home in the interim.
I think the recipe(s) have been tweaked to their detriment – I believe the kitchen staff did well and as they were instructed/taught and the food came out exceptionally quickly.
My pasta milano was 5/10 – years ago it had farfalle instead of rigatoni, and the farfalle was a better fit. The garlic parmesan cream sauce had a very flat flavor, and a slightly gray color. The sundried tomatoes didn’t have the brilliant zing of flavor or chewy texture I remember from years ago. The chicken was tender and cut into nicely sized pieces.
I hope they can tweak the recipe, and perhaps find a different supplier for some of the ingredients, because everything else was good on this visit.

Just not impressed with doing a 25 minute drive to return an obviously overcooked aka burnt, Chicken Parm after waiting for Door Dash to get around to deliver the meals. Even less impressed with the Seafood Ravioli for its price. I get inflation and delivery up-charges, but you get 5 raviolis and it comes out to $5.64 each. Just not worth it. The staff did do the usual apologize and recook thing, but at its price points there are other options that are better for less. I honestly wont return and I don’t want a corporate reply either because I don’t want an apology, discount or free food.

Our food was good! There was a 40 persons “celebration of life” and understandably, our 3 person food took awhile to come out. Our server preempted us about the wait, and checked in on us several times. We were not in a hurry so it was alright by us. We were hungry though so we were given 2 pieces of breads which more than tied us over till our appetizer and entrees arrived. Thank you for that!

The only negative thing I would say about my experience was the furniture right next to our booth had very visible dust bunnies. The actual booth we set in was spotless and sanitized though.

Positives: atmosphere, decor, hostess and waitress were all wonderful.
Negatives: honestly the food (both our dishes in the pictures) tasted like they were heated up in the microwave. Not fresh, pretty bland, and below average quality.
