Hands down the best restaurant cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. I don’t love cheesesteaks, but I know I’ll be back here. The sandwiches are packed with flavor, cheese, and a decent amount of meat. Longer wait than I was expecting but it wasn’t horrible and it’s obvious they don’t sacrifice quality for speed. Simply amazing

The Italian Place is easily one of my favorite sandwich spots around! This time I got the Philly N’ Everything and it was absolutely incredible. The sandwich is packed with flavor, was perfectly cooked, and made fresh to order. The shop itself is spotless with plenty of seating, which makes it great for dining in. The employees are always inviting and personable showing they actually care about what they do and about their customers. Highly recommend stopping by for a top-notch sandwich and great service!

Easily the best cheesesteak I’ve had in Utah, but my last sandwich basically came out raw. Tough to understand why the cook would think that a cheesesteak should have any red left in the meat.

Has to be one of the best sandwich shops around the Philly Cheesesteak was excellent copious amounts of cream cheese and steak yum! The Pastrami was very good lots of Pastrami great pickles awesome sandwich.

The help was pretty sullen, but did the job. Sandwich is good, but wish it didn’t have quite as much pepper. Great sandwich otherwise. Good portion of me and cheese. Really busy, lots of people love this place. Clean, but plane interior. Quickly made inspite of the line. Short wait time. Sandwich made to order.

This is one of husband’s favorite restaurants and he took me here for the very first time today. Shawn, the owner, was very kind and personable. We really enjoyed chatting with him and were happy to hear he would be here a long time. He treats his customers like friends and makes you feel like you’re eating at an old friends place.
We had the Zeus sandwich, which Shawn invented himself in 2008! It was delicious! We had of some homemade sauce that I really liked. Plus the sandwich’s are huge and more than filling.
I highly recommend coming here anytime you’re looking for comfort or just really delicious food!

Shawn the owner is amazing! I’ve been coming here for years and have always been given the best service and food. He has a great customer service and treats all his customers with kindness. I usually get the everything steak salad with their signature jalapeños ranch dressing if I’m not feeling like a sandwich. But if you don’t feel like a salad get there steak n everything or Thor sandwich — thank me later.. Come to this location if you’re ever in the area!

Perfect experience. Shawn, the owner, is awesome. For literally 50 years now, I am all about The Italian Place steak and everything – so good! I saw the poster for the brisket pastrami though and Shawn steered me that way. So so glad I listened – what perfection between two slices of rye.
Oh I still love you steak and everything, but now I have another great option!
This place is run so well, fast and very friendly service. Do yourself a favor and get your lips wrapped around any of these sandwiches… stat!
