Great, hometown cafe. Very attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast served all day. Extensive menu with eggs and biscuits an omelets and pancakes to sandwiches and entrees. Fresh made desserts, too.
The traditional corned beef/ Rueben was excellent. Lots of pieces of corned beef brisket and just the right amount of saurkraut and dressing. Tasty marbled rye. The biscuits and gravy were really good – lots of sausage in the gravy. Biscuits were fluffy.
Portions are very big. Service is very fast. Great place to stop.

Super yummy ! I got the berry cream cheese French toast, best I have ever had . We got the Brisket sandwich, a burger, and chicken sandwich they were all delicious. We also got the corn nibblers appetizer and those were different but great. Super sweet server. Great find on our way home. Thanks for a great lunch. Next to a cute gift /coffee shop.

Nice, relaxed restaurant! Clean! Great food! Good service. My burger was great! Also had cheese curds and fried mushrooms as an appetizer. They were to die for! Left so full that I couldn’t eat for the rest of the day!

Wow! Wish we would have taken pictures, did take out and it was great! Best Brisket we’ve had in a while, had the BBQ Brisket wrap. Also shared the meatloaf, super good! The kids both ate their whole meals before we could even ask how they liked it. Can’t wait to eat here again, what a gem!

Atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Out server was super kind and the food was delicious! We got the country fried steak and the rack of ribs. The country fried steak was a little greasy but yummy and the ribs were cooked perfectly! We will definitely be back!

We were happy to find a place near bellaire with reasonable prices and no wait, when Shorts had a 90 minute wait for a table.
One downside: no alcohol license.

Loved the food; it was fantastic! The food came out very fast. The cook knew what he was doing. The waitress was very quick. I didn’t get any names, but I would definitely give 10 stars if I could! The amount of food for such a cheap price was definitely also a plus!

Much of this food is house made and it’s outstanding!! I had corned beef hash with eggs and biscuits and gravy. My buddy had “The Hammer” burger with tots. We also shared a pretzel bites with beer cheese. The bites and tots seemed standard but well prepared and delicious. Everything else was EXCEPTIONAL!! The beer cheese on the tots was super good and needs to be an appetizer choice with some brisket or bacon on top!! The waitress was fun and patient with us. She gave us tons of great recommendations. She was very attentive on refilling our drinks and getting our food out. The dining room was clean and organized. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The bathroom even had a really funny sign in. Overall 11/10!! Take it from me, do not drive past this place time and time again for the last several years and not stop!!
