Interesting spot in wyandotte. Cool entrance. Nice cocktail list. Small menu with delicious ingredients. Loved the kimchi potatoes. Noodle entree dish was excellent. Staff started off great then kind of left us with empty drinks and wanting the bill near the end.

The drinks are the Unlikely Negroni & House Old Fashion, both were delicious. We had the Elote Churros and perogies, both were delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We liked the decor.

Everything about this incredible establishment is top notch! This is FINE DINING at it’s finest. If you’ve ever watch those cooking shows where a chef puts a number of ingredients together and then the judges rave over how good it is – THIS IS THE PLACE to go to get THAT kind of food! It’s magical. It’s a level of delicious that there just aren’t enough stars for. The craft cocktails are as much fun to order as they are to drink! Don’t go here just to have dinner – go for the whole experience! You can thank me later. You’re welcome!

Update: Since the original review, Iron Gate has become one of our favorite places. They constantly introduce new menu items without sacrificing quality. On Tuesdays, they are currently doing the Summer Supper Club, which is amazing! I hope they continue after summer is over as well.

I just love The Iron Gate. All of the staff, from the servers and bartenders (and all the wayback to the kitchen staff) really care about their product and the customer experience. The quality is as close to perfection as a new place can implement.

We enjoyed our meals! It is a tapas restaurant but each of us ordered a full plate and had a great time. Service was super prompt and knowledgeable and the environment I imagine being perfect for a date night. I passed the kitchens on my way to the restaurant and noted the chef cooking with extreme focus and care, so that’s always a great sign. Overall I think I would order the burger! It was delicious and so perfectly done. The truffle fries were nice, and the drinks were phenomenal. We will return!

We were visiting from out of town and picked the Iron Gate at random. Definitely the right choice!! Everyone was so friendly and the food was delicious. Next time I’m in the area, I definitely want to try more of their cocktails!
