The best pint of Guinness in South Carolina. Home of The #GreenvilleGaels. Sand Volleyball, Draft Beer, Irish Whiskey and Good Times.

Irish pub on pleasantburg is great for cheap drinks and a lively outdoor environment with the sand volleyball courts and large outdoor patio.

The vibes here are classic, laid-back, and unmistakably Irish. Even though I don’t drink, the drinks seem to be popular and well-made. The food is solid—especially the fried chicken, which is surprisingly good. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It’s fun watching people play volleyball and cornhole while you eat. Great spot to kick back and enjoy a chill night.

Listening in on the conversations of real Irish patrons and the Irish owner made me forget for a moment that I wasn’t in Ireland. The charming lass of a bartendress helped me improve my Irish accent and new how to pour a proper Guinness. I was really looking forward to having the Sheppard’s Pie, but it’s only a fall and winter item. I opted for the fish and chips. It was the perfect place to take my Green Toyota Tacoma rental vehicle. Monday there was a lot of volleyball going on but the kitchen was closed, came back Tuesday and got to really experience the pub feel. If you’re Irish or long for a taste of Ireland, definately check it out.

This place was great! There were a lot of nice things going on for St Patrick’s Weekend. Special meal deals, drinks, and entertainment. Good time overall. I loved the Irish stew and my fiancé loved the fish and chips.

Really felt like stepping into a pub in the countryside of Ireland. They are so nice and even had Powers which is one of the best Irish Whiskeys around.

NO PETS! Cool outdoor atmosphere. We went because reviews stated pets are allowed. Not anymore. After being there for 30 minutes and ordering food we were told we had to leave. NO PETS!

By far the best pint of Guinness in the Upstate! Kind of a bummer that the shepherds pie is seasonal, but the pub burger more than made up for it. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

I used to live on Michigan and my favorite beer ever is Kilkenny, but it is hard to find so I used to drive to Canada to get it… well this place has it and I couldn’t be the happier person ever!!!
