I had a fantastic meal on Valentine’s Day at the Inn. It was my first time trying the Inn and it exceeded my expectations. The service was quick and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. The food was simply delicious, particularly the steak tartare and the burrata pizza. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would definitely return.

Some of the best oysters we’ve ever had! And definitely get the deviled eggs too We enjoyed a martini, French 75 and Aperol spritz, all very delicious. We sat next to a couple who were regulars there and they recommended the bolognese. Beyond fabulous! I’m sure all the pasta is very good. We finished with the warm date cake, perfect for a cold night.
Everyone was so welcoming and kind, I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Inn!

My apologies for letting this review fall through the cracks. Given the delay, this one may be a bit lighter on details.

It was my birthday, and our friends wanted to take us to one of their favorite restaurants. This is a place they’ve been to several times and were excited to show off. They’re especially known for their artisan pizzas.

Food:
Since pizza is their specialty, and two people in our group get very excited about a good slice, they ordered a Cheese, Sausage & Onion pizza and a Margherita pizza. The nightly special was Lamb Chop, which is one of my favorites, so I went with that. The last person ordered the Salmon.

Overall, the food was very good. The lamb chop was nicely presented, cooked to the right temperature, and pesto-encrusted, which was a delicious combination. While it was good, it could have been a bit more flavorful. The salmon was enjoyed, though it leaned slightly dry. Both pizzas came out piping hot, generously topped, and very flavorful. There was plenty to share around the table.

We had a little room left for dessert and ordered the Chocolate Nemesis. It was a good size and just enough to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. They even added a candle to help celebrate my birthday, which was a nice touch.

Service:
Our server did a very good job throughout the evening. We were quickly settled in with drinks and menus, and the pacing of the meal was relaxed and well managed. We never felt like we were waiting on service. When they learned it was a birthday celebration, they went out of their way to present the dessert with a lit candle. It’s a small gesture, but it really shows attention to detail.

Atmosphere:
The restaurant felt much larger inside than expected. We were seated in a separate room that we had entirely to ourselves. Each of us had an upholstered chair, which initially felt special, though it took some adjustment not to lean back too comfortably at the table. When we arrived, the room was quite chilly and drafty. We asked if the thermostat could be adjusted, which helped, though it remained a bit drafty.

Overall, it was a very good experience and a place we would return to. Next time, I’d probably opt for one of the pizzas and request a table in the main dining room.

If you haven’ checked out this place, what are you waiting for?? Some of the best food I’ve had paired with amazing service and atmosphere.

Each room was done differently for a different feel depending on where you sat. The bar was buzzing and there are even some seats to watch the kitchen whip up those amazing dishes.

First we started with the endive salad that was incredible if you like blue cheese and a tangy dressing. My wife got the special of steak with chimicurri and fries with a mushroom gravy. I got a delicious salmon with some beets. Prickly pear margarita might be in my top 3 best margaritas.

This place is seriously a gem that is quickly not so hidden. Check it out!

We were finally able to try the newly remodeled Inn in Hartland which opened back in the beginning of this year. The updated interior is beautiful. There is seating throughout the restaurant, the bar and a chef’s table. We had the mushroom pizza and the filet. Both were amazing. If you are looking for an upscale, casual restaurant this is the spot to go.

Amazing food and great people!! The staff always go above and beyond to provide exceptional service to each guest even when the restaurant is busy. I’ve been here twice and ordered the margherita pizza the first time and the caesar salad with chicken the second, and both dishes were delicious. My friend I was with ordered the spinach pasta and we shared the foccacia bread (highly recommend as an appetizer). Drinks are great as well! Definitely worth a visit.

My husband and I had an absolutely delightful dinner at The Inn recently. It was our first time. We are very picky (foodies who love to cook). Everything was pretty much perfect. The Inn’s decor is exquisite and sets the tone (I’m a bathroom snob and even they were pristine). The staff is professional & welcoming. For our appetizer, we shared the Tallow Fries (OMG!). I had the broccoli cheddar soup (elevated), and my husband had a delicious fresh salad with beets and feta. I also had the 1/2 dozen oysters that were super fresh and cold. Our entrees were the blackened cod (incredible) and the wood-fired pizza w/argula on top. We shared the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. The wine list is fantastic too if you are wine snobs like we are! In summary, The Inn is a really special gathering spot for a nice night out that will not leave you feeling disappointed in any way. Highly recommend The Inn.

Bravo Matthew and Maddie!! The Inn was a phenomenal experience; the atmosphere, lighting, interior design, open kitchen, and attention to detail throughout the space all adds up to a welcoming, comfortable and beautiful environment. The staff were very warm and professional as well. Now the food!! The thoughtfully curated wine list, wood-fired breads, pizzas, meats and fish were amazing, as was the warm date cake with ice cream and salted toffee sauce. The small plate offerings have something for everyone, as do the larger portion options, and the plating was beautiful, simple and elegant. Overall, The Inn is a fantastic addition to our wonderful lake country dining community, and we will happily be back for more!!

We had an excellent time at The Inn. The food was excellent, the staff was on point, and the service was great, even though they were really busy.
We left wishing we could try everything on the menu.
I made a reservation and really wanted to sit at the countertop in front of the kitchen. This wasn’t listed as a reservable area, but when I contacted the restaurant over FB they made sure we got the seats we wanted. It was fantastic!
I gave 4-stars for the atmosphere because half of the bartop isn’t walled off or segregated in any way from the first dinning area, and as you can imagine, it can get pretty loud.
This by no means is a reason not to go, just an fyi for busy nights.

We finally had the opportunity to dine at The Inn, and it was such a wonderful experience all around! The restaurant is truly beautiful and thoughtfully laid out – owners did such an unbelievable job restoring this building. There is a dedicated bar/lounge area and dining area, each with their own vibe. I recommend grabbing a dink, at the bar, before dinner! Their featured wine list contained unique options too! Our food was so delicious and felt upscale, even though we ordered comfort food – pizza, half chicken, and flourless cake. Such a wonderful addition to Hartland!
