The busier the bar “appears” to be by how long the line is the more they charge for entry. There was toilet paper and cups all over the floors. The bartender was nice, and the gentlemen singing and playing his guitar was pretty good but I went here to do some real country dancing and this option is not available here. Lots of pool tables and for the most part all of the college kids here seem to be very nice.

I went into this bar based on the reviews that I read online, but this place was awful. I do not recommend to anyone due to the bartenders being drunker than the customers, and the owner sitting at the end of the bar creeping on younger ladies. This bar is full of college students and I don’t see how it is still I business. All I say is the Tavern is the place to go! Went there a week previous and it was AWESOME compared to the “DB” . Enjoy using the bathroom in restrooms that are in worse condition than porta potty

Best bar in Troy hands down, Great for college students, older adults, greek life, country folks, etc, there is an area for ALL types of music and vibes! The manager and owner are professional and strive to make sure no one is ever uncomfortable in the bar!

The Double Branch has the friendliest atmosphere and the best bartenders in Troy! It’s a dive bar but the safest place! They have brand new stuff like a VIP lounge and a food truck outside!!!! It’s mostly college students so if you’re not a Troy student chances are it’s not the place for you and free cover for students is a regular thing!!!

The place is about as classy as the pole they let 21 and under girls dance on after hours and dont get me started about how great the bar tenders that have Thor haircuts and insult customers to up their own ego are….I would definitely recommend this to anybody who wants to see a perfect example of a bad night out or just waste an entire evening of life at this dump site
