It’s a good place to study and have a few drinks with friends. Out of the way, but on the campus shuttle line so not a lot of sketchy people around. Usually campus orgs having events up here. The food is over priced for what you get but, all in all not bad.

You can’t beat the prices here, they have great beers on tab for stupid low prices. Seriously, stuff that’s like $10 a bottle is on tab for $3 a pint. Food is decent to actively good, also for really good prices. I love the Buffalo Chicken wrap and the Cajun fries, both delicious and super cheap. If you’re a grad student at SU, definitely come out, you get 20% off food. And they’ve got great trivia on Thurs!

A high quality, clean, affordable bar with excellent decor modeled after a ski chalet crossed with a hay barn. Games and a pool table are available on the second floor, and trivia is well attended every Thursday night at 9pm. Graduate students get discounts during trivia. Please do not be put off from this bar by the gate to SU’s south campus. If you are not an SU student, you will have to show an idea to get through, but an excellent bar awaits! A word of caution: be specific how you order mixed drinks, you may not get what you expect.

First of all, if there is no bus, you are screwed to commute to and from this place. The food is not the best but the atmosphere is really nice. I personally love to go in the afternoon, get a light meal and play with their board games till night next to the fire. The staff are friendly and there are always a couple of people you can hang around with there.

I was here for a Graduate Student event as the “plus one” person. Nice clean tavern. Bathrooms clean. Karaoke that night.
Note – this is in a secure area of Syracuse South Campus where there is student housing. You do need to go by a guard to enter the area by car. If you don’t have student ID, you need a good reason and a driver’s license.
