Came here for weekend lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how great everything was! We ordered the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala–both were absolutely delicious, easily a 5/5 for flavor. Rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned.
They also offer lunch specials, which are such a good deal. You get naan (butter or garlic), a small salad (wish it had dressing, but still fresh), a samosa, rice, and the lentil of the day. I’m not a big beans/lentils person, but everything else tasted great and felt super worth it.
Service was really on point–attentive, friendly, and quick. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable, even during weekend lunch hours. They also have their own parking lot and a clean bathroom, which is always a plus.
They also have tea and coffee station, I had the tea which was delicious!
Overall, I’d definitely come back again, especially for the lunch specials! Highly recommend!

We had our first date at The India Restaurant 13 years ago, and we return at least once a year to enjoy the best Indian food around. Tonight, our server, Adi, was so thoughtful and helpful. We tried a paneer appetizer at his suggestion and LOVED it. What a treat! This restaurant is a gem.

I’ve been going to this place for almost 20 years now. One of the best punjabi food restaurants in SoCal. Not once have I had an off experience going here. The tikka masala sauce and the garlic naan are to die for. Highly recommend this place!

The food and service was absolutely fantastic.
The food was delicious, and flavorful. The tandoori was amazing grilled and flavored perfectly. The curry really hot the spot. And the naan bread was a perfect compliment to both dishes!

I found love at The India Restaurant. We didn’t realize all we had in common!! Additionally the food was delicious and staff was excellent. You should definitely check this place out. AD Ardi was very friendly and great help.

Amazing Indian restaurant with delicious food and a great atmosphere. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service made the experience even better. Adi was the best! Food was good when it came out after approximately 45 minutes- 1 hour of waiting. The restaurant was busy when we walked in around 8pm (but most people were finishing up their food). We ordered and didn’t get our food until closer to 9pm. We did get the mango lassi and samosas maybe around 8:20 but the main dishes took way too long.
Another table got there maybe 15 minutes after us and got their food before us!! Maybe around 8:40, they were almost done by the time we got our food.
Our dishes were pretty typical- the chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. Nothing that takes particularly longer? Not sure if they forgot to put in the order.. but it was a very long time.
It almost felt like they were ignoring us? Not letting us know something was behind or delayed- we had to ask them after 45 minutes of waiting to check on our food.
Not sure if they give their regulars priority but it was our first time there and most likely not going back. The reviews raved about their service but their service made it minus 3 stars…
