Bandera Jalisco – Restaurant in San Antonio
Reviews
Very disappointed with the service I received today. I’ve been to many restaurants and I have NEVER been treated the way I was today.
Bandera Jalisco has been a family favorite for years but I will not be going back. The cooks, staff and Patricia made me feel like I was wrong for asking for the food I paid for. They kept on looking at my family and I as if we bothered them (this happened after we brought some issues to their attention- not immediately as we came in).
Patricia, is the rudest and most confrontational server I’ve ever encountered. First she forgot to bring our chips and salsa- understandable, we are human. Second, she accused me of lying about getting the tortillas for my huevo ranchero plate even though i showed her the tortillas we received. After waiting 10 minutes for my tortillas, she finally came and I asked her if they could remake my plate and said she would warm up my plate but couldn’t remake it. I told her I didn’t wait my food to be warmed up, I wanted it to be made again. She got mad and then brought me a new plate, I noticed my country sausage was missing so I asked her and said that she couldn’t bring it back because I had already ate some of it (I will admit that I did eat some of the sausage); I told her that I had more then half and she told me it was not. I asked her to speak to her manager and the she said she would bring me the sausage and then said “but start eating your food so it won’t get cold again and you won’t ask me to bring you another one” then walked away. When she got back, I asked her to bring me a to-go plate and she chuckled and brought one. She then began to try to apologize (didn’t really apologize- basically made excuses for why things went wrong sarcastically) and said that she didn’t know why I was mad if she offered me a high chair for my son as if that mattered. I told her I was not happy and I didn’t appreciate her attitude and she said she didn’t have an attitude and I gave her a few examples of how she gave me attitude and she said “well yes, I understand, I may have been a little bothered which is why it may have sounded rude”.
I don’t think anyone who works in customer service should have this kind of attitude.
I admit that I may not have been the happiest person but I was not rude and I did not deserve to be treated like that.
I ordered the #3 the chalupa was soggy . So I asked her to have them make it again and she brought me back a soggier chalupa . My mom couldn’t eat the fish cause it was burnt and under cooked from inside . This place used to be the bomb!!! What happened ??? A total ZERO for me ! Patricia was our waitress . Sadly this is not the first time with her attitude and poor service. This time I decided to write about it.
