Breads were good as well.
For dessert, we tried their “Khajur Badam ka Halwa”. It doesn’t taste like your usual halwa but the taste is unique and good.
Ambience:
The interiors are elegant and classy, with warm lighting and well-spaced seating. It feels calm despite being in such a busy area, which is a big plus. The restaurant has an upscale vibe without being too flashy.
Food:
The food is the real highlight here. The North Indian dishes are rich, flavorful, and well-prepared. Gravies are creamy and balanced, not overly spicy or oily. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available, and the quality of ingredients is clearly noticeable. Portions are decent and satisfying.
Service:
Service is polite and professional. The staff is attentive, helps with menu suggestions, and ensures a smooth dining experience. Orders are served in a reasonable time even during busy hours.
Pricing:
Prices are on the higher side, but considering the location, ambience, and food quality, it feels justified. This is more of a fine-dining experience rather than a budget meal.
Imperial Spice is a solid choice in Connaught Place for those who enjoy well-made Indian food in a refined setting. Perfect for a relaxed meal when you don’t mind spending a little extra for quality and comfort.
Recommended for: Family dining, business lunches, and special occasions.
the food and ambience were very nice. they have prices which are justified given the quality
They have a huge range to choose from
We tried the Imperial Dal, really good, Paneer Lababdar, again great and delicious Lachha Paranthas
FEW THINGS WHICH AREN’T AS GOOD
1. The SERVICE can be a little better
2. There is NO LIFT
3. The QUANTITY for main course can be improved.
It’s on the first floor and no elevator. However for senior citizens they do have electric seat eascalator; one person at a time.
They got all veg and non-veg options. We tried only veg.
On a side note, this place is way better than Sandoz (another restaurant in the area).
