Black Cat
Twist at Imperial Spice
Mango Julius

Veg Starters
Tawa mushroom galaouti: 4/5
Oriental paneer chillmen: 4.5/5
3 cheese pizza: 3.5/5

Non veg starters
Sarson mahi tikka (fish): 4.5/5

For dessert, we tried their “Khajur Badam ka Halwa”. It doesn’t taste like your usual halwa but the taste is unique and good.

Imperial Spice in Connaught Place is a great option if you’re looking for a comfortable place to enjoy authentic North Indian cuisine with a premium touch. Located right in the heart of CP, it’s easy to reach and works well for family dinners, office lunches, or even small celebrations.

Ambience:
The interiors are elegant and classy, with warm lighting and well-spaced seating. It feels calm despite being in such a busy area, which is a big plus. The restaurant has an upscale vibe without being too flashy.

Food:
The food is the real highlight here. The North Indian dishes are rich, flavorful, and well-prepared. Gravies are creamy and balanced, not overly spicy or oily. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available, and the quality of ingredients is clearly noticeable. Portions are decent and satisfying.

Service:
Service is polite and professional. The staff is attentive, helps with menu suggestions, and ensures a smooth dining experience. Orders are served in a reasonable time even during busy hours.

Pricing:
Prices are on the higher side, but considering the location, ambience, and food quality, it feels justified. This is more of a fine-dining experience rather than a budget meal.

Imperial Spice is a solid choice in Connaught Place for those who enjoy well-made Indian food in a refined setting. Perfect for a relaxed meal when you don’t mind spending a little extra for quality and comfort.

Recommended for: Family dining, business lunches, and special occasions.

Food was good but could be better. Quantity is on the lower side. Atmosphere inside is nice, could be better. Good service.

IT WAS A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE
the food and ambience were very nice. they have prices which are justified given the quality
They have a huge range to choose from
We tried the Imperial Dal, really good, Paneer Lababdar, again great and delicious Lachha Paranthas

FEW THINGS WHICH AREN’T AS GOOD
1. The SERVICE can be a little better
2. There is NO LIFT
3. The QUANTITY for main course can be improved.

First day in Delhi today with my two friends, we love curry and eat out often in the UK. We stumbled upon here tonight, can honestly say it was some of the best curry I’ve had. Manoj was our server and he did an outstanding job with explaining the dishes and asking our preferred spice levels. Can not recommend this place more! 10/0

A fine dining place to have a romantic or a family get together. Food taste is excellent. We tried hot n sour veg, daal makhani, garlic naan.
It’s on the first floor and no elevator. However for senior citizens they do have electric seat eascalator; one person at a time.
They got all veg and non-veg options. We tried only veg.
On a side note, this place is way better than Sandoz (another restaurant in the area).

A place for the tourists, locational advantage. Ambience is ok. Food flavour is average, food mixed with ready sauces to deliver fast. Continue to add service charge without the client’s approval.

The overall arrangements were decent, but the service could have been much better. The service staff appeared sluggish, and the captains on the floor were not very proactive in managing the event or attending to guests. A little more attentiveness and coordination from the team would have made the experience smoother and more enjoyable.

Food, ambience, price, hospitality, location everything is a 10/10. Best thing is they have a chair escalator for the elderly, however you have to climb 4-5 steps then it’s available. So completely wheelchair bound people cannot visit i guess. Their staff is quite friendly and supportive. They provide complete assistance. Overall food experience is top notch. It’s a must visit place if you are looking for a perfect dinner/lunch in CP

Had very high hopes from Imperial spice because of high ratings and a fine dining environment. Honestly, the main course was good, not exceptional, but decent. Butter chicken tasted a little different but i liked it. But before all this, there were starters and drinks, and they were hopeless. We were so disappointed. The cocktails were full of sugar. Chicken tikka was bad and a veg kebab was also below average.
