My husband and I have breakfast here every Saturday and Sunday. The food is outstanding! I get an omelette on Saturday and the breakfast burrito on Sunday. They’re both perfect every time! Barry is amazing! I will say this, I get american cheese in both. I’ve had them both the menu way and wasn’t as happy. There wasn’t anything wrong, but the American cheese is masterfully melted into both dishes. Maddie is our server and she nails it every time! My husband gets the Berlin special. We’ve both had the pancakes too. The queso burger, the mushroom burger (again with American cheese for me) and everything we’ve ever gotten there never disappoints. The carrot cake is out of this world! It’s out favorite place in Berlin!

I always try to visit a local place a while before I make my review, so here is my photo dump and review.
We have been coming here quite often and have really been enjoying the food and the atmosphere. The menu covers all bases that the palate craves (steak, seafood, vegetarian and even international inspired dishes) I’ve personally tried everything that i photographed and more. Great appetizers (I recommend the Tavern trio or Mozzarella cigars)
Excellent and exciting entrees! I highly recommend attending a 2 for $40 date night on Wednesday. These nights got me into desserts again. Homemade carrot cake is a must try!
Overall an exciting atmosphere with fun music trivia nights, great food and drinks, good specials and things to do. This was a very good addition to our Main street and brought life back to Berlin Main street after 9pm. Hyrdo Tavern is highly recommend

A Hidden Gem in Berlin, NH!
We stopped by The Hydro Tavern and were absolutely blown away! The food was amazing — we ordered the TNT Burger and Chicken Parm, and both dishes were bursting with flavor. Everything tasted super fresh — nothing felt like it came out of a freezer, which is rare and very appreciated.
Another big highlight of our visit was our server, Bambi. She was incredible — friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with all our questions. She took the time to explain the menu and made sure we were taken care of throughout the night.
Also worth mentioning — this is the only bar in town open until midnight, so if you’re looking for a late bite or a chill evening spot, this is it.
If you’re ever in Berlin, New Hampshire, do yourself a favor and check out The Hydro Tavern. You won’t be disappointed!

Very good small restaurant on center of Berlin NH close to Jericho mountain trails riding. Very cold beer, delicious mozzarella sticks( not greasy) and very nice Buffalo chicken tenders. Honestly they did go waaay beyond my expectations and deserved a good review. For the location it is a 5 stars!

Small place but loved the vibe. Very kind staff. Drinks were good. Garlic pretzel rod appetizer was good. Other food was just okay. Maybe it was what we got—maple chicken sandwich with fries, and buffalo tenders with fries. The chicken seemed like it probably came out of the freezer precooked. Sauce on each was pretty sad. Fries were crispy and good. One of us did get sick later that night, not sure if it was related to this.

We love this spot. The food is excellent. From chowder and chili, to cornbread, poutine, maple chicken sandwhich- you cant go wrong. The parmesan pretzels are excellent.
Cheesesteak is so good.
Our group loved everything, and the service was perfect.
The locals that frequent are very welcoming and friendly. We had so much fun, and will make this a regular spot.

Place is always crowded and with good reason. Service is top notch and food is out quickly. Burger was average but fries were excellent.

We’re visiting from out of state and saw the menu for this restaurant and thought why not let’s check it out. It has very limited seating but we were able to be seated right away. We ordered bone-in chicken wings, side of potatoes, steak, chicken Caesar salad. It took about an hour for our food to come out. The steak was raw, wings were delicious, mashed potatoes were tasteless, bland and very dry. Green beans were great. Chicken caesar salad was heavily dressed but decent. When we let them know the steak was raw they tried to “cook” the same steak again. It was still raw the second time around. The kitchen seemed crazy backed up. For the amount of tables in the place that surprised us. I wouldn’t say this was horrible but I do have to believe there is something better.
