Great people, amazing food, comfortable atmosphere, clean. Some of the best scratch/home cooking in the area. Come hungry, leave satisfied!

The cook surely knows what he is doing. The food is always good. It’s also very clean everytime I’ve been here.

My wife and I have been eating out more to support the local restaurants after the lock-down eased up. This place has a lot of potential with a few changes. The staff was friendly and attentive. The decor was nice and I though the location was good. My wife had Ranch Chicken and I had the open faced roast beef. We both thought the sides were pretty good. The chicken had been cooked ahead of time and microwaved WAY to much. It turned to rubber as all things tend to do in the microwave. She couldn’t eat it. My roast beef had the same problem. It was very dry and difficult to cut. I was hoping for juicy and tender and I got dry and tough. My suggestion – ditch the microwave(s). Be a chef, not a re-heater – cook fresh and hot even if it takes a little longer. We’ll wait. We will come in again and will update then.

My family drives by this every day and we were eagerly anticipating the opening. We went over the weekend and were not disappointed. Tons of food for great prices! Very affordable. And the pulled pork is amazing, tender and wonderfully smoky flavor. We’ll definitely be going back.

Ordered American Burger. Specifically asked for no mayonnaise; came with mayonnaise. Ate it anyway and it was good. Seasoned fries were tasty. Wolf pups (hush puppies) were good but nothing special. They failed to live up to their menu description in my opinion. Tried a bite of the carrot cake. It was very good. Other desserts looked amazing but as I saw pastry boxes being carried in, they may be made off site. Overall good food but nothing to make a special trip to experience.

The Hungry Wolf was recommended to me by a co-worker a few weeks ago. My family and I looked over the menu on line and were excited to go. Everything looked and sounded amazing. The service was good, the prices are great and the portions are very generous. I just wish I could say the same for the quality of the food. The Wolf Pups tasted okay but seemed overcooked but not very fresh. Maybe sitting under a heat lamp for too long? Doesn’t make sense because they weren’t very busy at the time. We all got the mashed potatoes which were pretty good even though the gravy was kinda…meh. But they too were not very warm. Everything except the chicken tenders seemed like it had been sitting out for awhile but for the most part everything was “okay” except for the meatloaf. Do NOT order Granny’s Meatloaf. I took one bite and was done. Get a new recipe and maybe try to put some meat into it and for Pete’s sake, don’t let it dry out! Sincerely the worst meatloaf I have ever tried to eat in my entire life. Dry, cold and slightly burnt on the outside. No amount of flavorless gravy could cover that up. I’m not sure if I will be going back to try some other stuff or not because some of the reviews for the pork make me want to give them a second chance. Maybe it was just a bad night?

Wasn’t impressed the prices were good and the servings were good but the food definitely needed some work. We ordered two country fried steak dinners w/ mashed potatoes and green beans which the green beans were amazing leave them alone but the mashed potatoes needed salt, butter and pepper and less skins and lumps and the gravy was so watery you couldn’t even see or taste it. Then our little boy got the kids burger which it was over cooked. Then we got a side of Mac& cheese it was over cooked and needed more cheese it was like plain mushy noodles. Then their side of basically hush puppy’s was nothing spectacular definitely not worth theoney. But just opening I’m sure they will improve in time…

Excellent place to eat! Menu is clear, prices are fair, and EVERY BITE was an experience of pure deliciousness. Order the BBQ because the sause is to die for. Portions were very hefty. The gravy on the mashed potatoes was literally the BEST gravy I’ve ever had! Not a single thing disappointed me about this place. I’m writing this review because I WANT YOU TO EXPERIENCE THIS!

Me and some fellas came here and got some food. I got the Country fried steak, baked beans, and mashed potatoes. The gravy on the steak was Fan-frickin-tastic. The mashed potatoes were a bit chunky, but delicious. The baked beans were fairly good as well. That said, I wish I’d ordered the Mac and cheese instead, as a compatriot of mine got it, and by goodness, it looked good! Also, the prices were very reasonable for portions given! 10/10 will eat here again.

Ok so Let me explain here. The service is good and the place is cute. However, the food quality is 3 starish and this is the only place I would site as needing improvement. For an older base clientel the lack of hard spicing is often needed and I believe this is the Hungry Wolf’s target market. Older maybe with Grand kids is the vibe. The place is super cute and the service is good. The food was bland for me but I believe this is by design.
