Hungry Heathen has one of the best breaded tenderloins around. It was so tender with a nice medium thickness and the breading had just a few spices and not overly breaded . The Heathen Bowl is good size with some very delicious bbq pulled pork with creamy macaroni and cheese. It does have onions in it. Our server was very polite and attentive. We will definitely be back and recommend to others.

Pretzel sticks & cheese, pork tenderloin, corn ribs and pineapple upside down cake where very good. Will have to come back for ribs.
Update 3-30-2024: Went back for ribs and they were awesome. Dry rubbed half slab that comes with house bbq sauce. Flavorful fall off the bone. A must try.

Super disappointed in the fish fry Friday meal. Called to make sure the meal came with french fries & coleslaw. To my surprise, I opened up the box & realized I got soggy potato chips instead of french fries. A 3 piece fish meal, soggy potato chips & oddly tasting coleslaw is not worth $15. Scotty’s makes a much better fish dinner that is way cheaper.

First time visiting and the staff were wonderful. Professional. Order was correct and appropriate temperature.
Food did take some time to be delivered but perfection takes time. They succeeded.
Prices were reasonable. Will plan to eat here again.
I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere for a couple reasons. First it was a bit chilly for some guests in our party. Seating seemed tight but I really don’t see how to improve. It was a bit loud of noise but again, not sure how to improve. None of these are significant issues though. Will certainly be back again.

I am sorry to write this as Wabash we really need this to be a good restaurant. We went there for the fish special Friday night as advertised. They were out of fish at 6 pm. I have had there fried green tomatoes before they were great. Last night they were still doughy inside. The waitress just put our food down we did not have a chance to say anything. They were out of the sauce for the Fried green tomatoes and it was cold in there. I pray it gets better.

Went on a busy night. Some of the best fish I have had in a long time. Tenderloin was good, nice size, & thickness. It was a little garlic heavy on the seasoning, but not off putting. The waitress was ran ragged trying to keep up with everything

We went to the Hungry Heathen for our forty first wedding anniversary . We were there for a late lunch. The food was wonderful and definitely plentiful. My husband mentioned that today was our anniversary. Iva and Haley surprised us with the most delicious cheesecake. What a thoughtful gesture. Words can’t express what your kindness means to us. Thank you. We will definitely be back.

My Husband & I have eaten at Hungry Heathen several times! As well as pick up & door dash! All three versions of our experiences had us coming back for more. We’ve loved the ribs, the grilled tenderloin, the Reuben sandwich, the burgers, the onion rings, the breaded mushrooms and even the sweet tea is perfect! They do not disappoint! 🙂
