I chose this restaurant specifically because of the photos shown online — stacked shaved gyro meat, proper pita sandwiches, and attractive, well-composed platters. What I received for the $16.99 Chicken Gyro Platter looked nothing like what’s advertised.
Instead of shaved gyro meat, I was given sliced chicken wraps cut into pieces, plain rice, basic salad, and flatbread triangles dumped into a takeout box. It wasn’t a gyro in structure, presentation, or experience.
For $18 after tax, the value and accuracy simply weren’t there. The food I received did not match the photos or the menu description, which was incredibly disappointing. I wanted to love this place based on the reviews and images — but what I was served was nowhere close.
The platter came with exactly one Kalamata olive — and it wasn’t even pitted. At nearly $18, that kind of corner-cutting is hard to excuse. The most flavorful part of the meal was actually the salad dressing, and even the salad itself felt off: iceberg lettuce mixed with shredded carrots isn’t traditional in Greek cuisine. Altogether, the food lacked the authenticity and quality shown in the photos.

Visited here a couple months ago, and we were very impressed with this place! We ordered the kabob plate with a side of falafels. We came in at the end of the night, and they gave us extra gyro meat on top of our kabobs free of charge as they were cleaning out their supply from that day. It was sooo good! They definitely sold us on coming back for the gyros. The kabobs were good. The chicken was a little on the dry side, but the lamb was amazing. The falafels were flavorful and perfectly crunchy. I love Mediterranean, and this place didn’t disappoint. Also, the establishment was squeaky clean which is always a huge plus!

My friend and I were spending the day shopping in Springs and were looking for some place new to try. We both enjoy Greek food and decided on Greek Cafe. The food was good, just nothing excellent. I got a gyro and fries, decent prices for the amount we were given. The atmosphere was somewhat bland, but overall friendly staff. I would eat here in the future.

If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Greece right here in our city, look no further than Greek Caffe. This charming family-owned spot truly lives up to its name — you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Their gyros are absolutely phenomenal: perfectly seasoned meat, tender and juicy, wrapped in warm pita with fresh veggies and just the right amount of tzatziki. It’s clear they put love into each one.
Don’t skip dessert: their baklava is divine. Crispy, nutty, buttery layers soaked in syrup — sweet without being cloying. It’s exactly the kind of Mediterranean treat you dream about.
Thank you, now I’m your regular customer
In short, Greek Caffe is a gem. The food is top tier, the portions generous, and the warm, friendly service makes it feel like dining with family. Highly recommended!

Lots of seating, seemed clean and the owners were behind the counter and in the kitchen cooking. Like that is there is a wide variety for the combo plates. The veggie plate was good and a variety of textures and tastes. Spanakopita was good, but greasy as it was fried to cook it thoroughly. Falafel was toothsome and took some chewing to get through. Rice was flavorful and there was plenty of it. Salad was fresh and the perfect accompaniment to the heavier sides on the plate.

Took a large parry for dinner on Saturday and everyone loved it. Large plates and sandwiches. Everything tasted excellent. Staff was very friendly and had great service. We will definitely be back.

Really disappointed with Greek Cafe. I got the gyro/falafel plate – gyro was so dry it curled up around the edges, very salty, rice was flavorless, falafel was dry and over fried it was almost burned, salad dressing was some crap from a bottle, and the tzatziki sauce states homemade on the menu but didn’t taste like it.
They also have no website or a current menu posted on google, so don’t be alarmed when the prices are 25% more expensive than the menu photo that’s online.
We won’t be back.

Stopped in for a quick meal. I ordered the gyro meal which came with fries and a drink. Food was ready very quickly and fries were freshly cooked. Nice local place. Parking was a little restricted. Definitely would stop here again.

We have been looking for a good gyros place and this one was the closest to a place we went while stationed in Germany. This will be our quick gyro place from now on. We ordered take out so we did not stay long.
Service and food was excellent.
