Ordered food takeout. Got beef, salad and a side of soup. Not only did I not get any silverware, but the hot food is in the same container as the salad. The food tastes old like it was made earlier on in the day. Absolutely not authentic Greek. Very disappointed. Not worth the money.

Food is consistently good. I usually get the Greek salad with chicken, or Souvlaki mixed platter with steak and chicken. I eat here at least once a month, and the staff has always been courteous, and professional. They also have an app, so you can collect points and order ahead.

I had a fantastic experience at The Hungry Greek! The food was priced fairly, and the quality exceeded expectations. The salad was fresh and well-balanced, with plenty of olives, cheese, and ripe tomatoes, plus a hidden scoop of potato salad at the bottom—a perfect touch. The gyro meat was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. Portions were generous, and everything tasted excellent.
Beyond the food, the restaurant itself was clean and had a comfortable, well-balanced atmosphere. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great Greek food!

This is one of the better Greek restaurants in Trinity (albeit, quite expensive). The food is great and the atmosphere is very welcoming & clean.
However, the largest issue I have is that there’s been a couple times that they either messed up my order, or had completely left out an order that I had given them, which is unacceptable. I will also say that their portion sizes for baklava are VERY small, given the prices they’re asking.
Other than that, the staff are quite friendly and will accommodate you if any issues arise, though just make sure you CHECK your bags if you’re taking out, and don’t arrive home missing an entire gyro like I had done one time.

We were disappointed our first time coming to hungry Greek. We ordered a take away order of the veggie bowl and the portion size seems very small. Additionally, it looks like these are just frozen vegetables heated up with rice rather than fresh. I ordered the chicken pita and it was just ok as well.

New owners skimp on the portions. Even the rice in the kids meal is basically nonexistent. I’m a big fan of hungry Greek in general, but this one is noticeably different. And I won’t be sad when the rude kids who work the evening shift on Sunday are back flipping burgers.
If you go to any other HG, you are served gyro meat in thick long pieces. Here they are cut it in tiny little scraps. I could see the metal pole in the cone that holds the meat behind the counter in the restaurant.
Do yourself a favor and go to the one in Ballantrae. Much better quality and much friendlier service.
One business in that small plaza already went under. Something tells me there will be several more. With what things cost nowadays, customers are taking notice.

I love that we have a Hungry Greek restaurant in the Trinity / Odessa area! The food was so delicious! Fresh, Greek salads, gyro pitas, soups, desserts, and much more! A meticulously, clean restaurant and the staff was so friendly! Additionally, I didn’t wait a long time at all for my food, I definitely recommend everyone to come and get some amazing Greek food!

Was craving a Greek salad and the only choices were a few chains. I was very pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality of the salad and the other items ordered. Happy to know there’s some fast, super tasty options nearby! I filled up on the soup and barely made a dent in the salad but I’m sure it‘ll be just as good tmw!
