The food was okay for me. I ordered attieke nd it came with no seasoning at all. Nd then they put maggi on it to make up for it lol. The goat meat also had no seasoning it tasted bland but soup was mid. My issue is the lady that was taking our order was very rude. She very aggressive and kept cutting us off. On top of all that she was rushing us when we were ordering. I hope people know this business comes with service.

My first time eating here and though I ordered via the app, the owner was very inviting and considerate by tracking my order and giving me updates. My order was ready 10 minutes earlier than expected and the food was outstanding. Let’s just say I inhaled everything on my plate. Will certainly be back!

So I’m Nigerian and the food here is made by a wonderful Ghanaian woman and wow I can’t lie the lady can cook !
I had to try a bit of everything to make sure i had something I liked. To my surprise I loved everything ! I got the jollof and this is probably the only place I’ve had good Ghanaian jollof like good to the point where I plan on coming back. The efo(spinach) , pounded yam, egusi my gosh it was all made to perfection even the meat and fish were 10/10.
I hate meat pie all meat pie Nigerian Ghanaian Cameroon dc I don’t like it but something said just give this place a try ! And I’m so glad I did because this is the best meat pie to touch this earth now I plan on making this my go to place when I need meat pies catered for an event. Everything was seasoned to perfection the portions were the right size and my food was even still hot when it go to me through delivery.

After coordinating for catering services, the point of contact ghosted me. Very unprofessional when I was going to spend almost $2000 at this establishment for my wedding. They need better processes for catering. It was a major inconvenience to try to find someone else last minute.

Update after response from owner: the owner did tell me they had a family emergency on Sept 24. That night they provided the quote for my order. On Sept 25, the following morning I asked how should I pay and get a contract. On Sept 29 I sent a follow up text. On Sept 30, anxious because my wedding is Oct 18, I offered family condolences and asking if someone on her team could help me instead. I got no response whatsoever, so I rushed to find another caterer at short notice.

I have ordered from here a number of times. The food is always delicious. They offer a very small seating section for indoor dining but its always best to order your food to go/pick up.

I ordered waakye and beef meat pie.
The pie was a 11/10…flavorful and spicy, very good!
The waakye and goat was $18 with a very generous portion of meat, rice and all the fixings. I give it a 7/10 the flavor was not authentic Ghanaian waakye where you taste the sorghum leaves. It tasted like it was cooked with coconut milk which is not my preference.
Lastly, the customer service was very unwelcoming and poor, the young lady at the register seemed annoyed and irritated while attending to me. This was my first time here not sure if ill return.

I was very impressed by the attention to detail when I called on phone. Very polite and professional customer service. And the food was well packaged. Hot, clean and fresh. I absolutely enjoyed the food, especially the waakye. Though it’s several miles away from mine, I wouldn’t mind making the trip again. Dine-in options available when covid guidelines allow it.

It’s honestly so hard to capture take out food in its best light. But despite me not being able to make this pretty… Man, this is the best Ghanaian food I’ve ever had. The black pepper sauce I wanted to dump on everything. Puff puff was perfectly dense in texture and delicious. Everything was *chef kiss* and you know I can’t go without my egusi ♀️

We tried this hidden restaurant for the first time and we really enjoyed the food. The food was well seasoned, delicious, flavourful, and a good portion.
