I needed food while working in the area. I was very happy with good quality and portion. Tasted good and fresh. Take out was my choice. They do have a seating area. Unfortunately, it does not have that appeal for someone to want to sit and eat. I recommend the chicken wings…. great for price point. As for the service, the lady who took my order was not very friendly over the phone, very to the point. When I went to pick up my food, she was very straight to point, very lacking in niceness, lol…. if you want a quick bit to eat with good portions and great price points, then i highly recommend this joint.

I’ve been coming here since 2008 and the food and the service has been overwhelmingly consistent. The staff is friendly and courteous and they stay busy. The lady upfront is genuine and sweet she actually remembers all her customers and her tip jar is always full. The food is steaming hot and absolutely delicious (see photos). The dining room is always clean and neat and everyone is working and not goofing off and criticizing customers. If you are a frequent customer please help them get the 5 stars they deserve. I wish your business all the success and more in 2022. I highly recommend this place 🙂

The portions and the price are perfect– the combo is a great deal. However, as others have mentioned, the rice is a little gummy. My beef and broccoli tasted good, but a lot of the beef slices were very chewy/fatty and hard to eat. I will try another dish because the price and convenience is hard to beat. This was about $12 and included the fried rice, an egg roll, small egg drop soup, and the beef/broccoli.

I hadn’t been here in years maybe 8 years I got there at 11:00AM they haven’t done any upgrades in all these years old pepper shakers, old tables and chairs and the cooking area , etc you can see when you walk in, the restaurant was a little warm BUT the chicken fries rice was cooked to perfection it was hot seasoned great. Now the cashier wasn’t very friendly she wasn’t rude just doesn’t have a friendly demeanor but the food was great I don’t travel down that road anymore but glad I stopped this morning. 09-25-24 update I went back today the food wasn’t good the rice must have been leftover it was gummy very few Vegetables the chicken was big Clumps Don’t know what happened yesterday it was great so I took the stars away the AC isn’t working one of the guys in the back bought water from the back to put into the machine to cool down the restaurant I think today was my last day I took pictures today I think it’s time to call the health department

This is the Chinese food I’m used to.
This place is relatively close by to where I live at the moment. Having grown up in a Chinese restaurant for 12 years of my life. I think I have a pretty good grasp on what’s good and bad at a Chinese restaurant.
I ordered the beef and broccoli here. And for 8.40 I got a drink, appetizer, rice, and soup. Which is INCREDIBLY impressive in both this area and economy. Try running a restaurant like this nowadays with that kind of budget and food portions and still make it taste good.
My broccoli was good, cooked with still a crisp to it and the beef was soft and yummy. And the rice is rather standard, nothing out of the ordinary, but it doesn’t have to be.
Service was quick and I got my food within 7 or so minutes of settling down at a table.
Note: at the time of writing this review there is no AC, but I am writing this a week after hurricane beryl.
There’s no WiFi here and also seemingly no outlets for the guests, but that’s okay.
I hope they stay open for as long as they can manage.

Let’s start by saying I give the food a 6.5/10. I ordered the general tso’s. Food was made at the time of ordering, a little bland. Spring roll tasted like it came from the freezer section. Probably won’t be returning. Lady at the counter didn’t even speak when I walked in and wasn’t courteous in the least bit.

I was sick, so I had soup delivered to my place. I ordered egg drop soup and seafood hot and sour soup. I ordered it at 10:30 AM for an 11:45AM delivery. They open at 11AM. I didn’t get it until 12:30PM. I would’ve picked it up if I weren’t sick. They’re a mile away, so it may have been quicker.
The soups were delicious. The were still warm when they arrived and I only had to reheat it about 30 seconds. I thought the seafood hot and sour soup was going to be spicier. I added a little hit sauce to it but the flavor was great and the shrimp were big. I’ve eaten at Hunan
before but I took the food to go.

Food was horrible. chicken wings wasn’t even shaped as wings and mainly fat smh . Rice was gummy no flavor at all. Wish I could get my money back honestly. I don’t know how ppl are leaving any good remarks about this place cause the food sucks and the inside is not easy on the eyes . Then again I’m from Chicago so maybe this is top standard for some ppl either way I’m never going back I only tried it because I live close by . Won’t make that mistake again .
