With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

I’ve been getting coffee here since I started and there are days that customer service looked annoyed that I could figure out what I wanted. But today was the worst. I just started door dashing and upon arrival, there were many cars and door dash said to go up to the walk up window, waited for almost 6 mins without even being acknowledged and I simply asked “is this were you pick up orders” and the lady was rude towards me and said “door dash isn’t a priority. I wasn’t trying to be rude so I waited and they serviced more than 7 cars before even starting the order. I felt upset at the way they spoke with such rudeness and asked for the manager and they said she’s not here and we’re aren’t giving you her number. Now I will not being going back for orders there nor will I get my coffee there. Very upsetting because I like the coffee, just not the service

Great service and I love the drinks! I’m very glad they are so close to my usual path of travel. Sometimes they have fun stickers. We go here on the weekends to celebrate kids good grades. Also take the dogs on their Bithdays for pup cups.

Like other reviews have said, the Human Bean provides the RUDEST customer service in town especially the blonde lady, whom I assume is the owner. There is no customer service, unlike the other coffee shops in town, where the employees are actually kind. If you’re looking for friendly service, don’t stop here. You’ll be treated like you’re imposing on someone’s day. Their cringe service deserves a ZERO!

I kept getting coffee here because my husband likes it, but the people there are rude and disrespectful to clients. They ran my card for the wrong amount, $28 instead of $17. I nicely asked them if they could void the charge and they offered to make me another drink instead. I told them that I did not need another one so they needed to void the charges and rerun my card. NOT ONLY APOLOGY, not one smile AND THEY NEVER CANCELED THE $28 CHARGE instead they added another charge; so I paid almos $50 for 2 med drinks and 1 kids smoothie
