Went to this great bakery and was so impressed! They have some of the best and most creative baked goods. I tried the crookie and the apple strudel. The strudel was amazing, perfectly warmed up and would go great with ice cream. The crookie was pretty good too! I’m not usually a croissant fan, but I had to try it since I’ve seen them all over TikTok. I also had the chai cinnamon latte, which was outstanding. The service was fast and friendly, and there’s both indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, such a nice spot with a great vibe!

Charming little café with a wide selection of pastries. I opted for a Reuben sandwich, which was unfortunately pretty bland and a bit disappointing. On the bright side, the iced chai with cinnamon (their fall drink) was absolutely delicious! The staff were also kind and helpful, which made the experience pleasant overall.

I was really disappointed with the muffins I had here. They were old, dry, and hard definitely not fresh. The place itself looks nice, but the food didn’t meet expectations. I hope they pay more attention to the quality of what they serve.

First off, their plain coffee is delicious! But know they are light on the milk/cream so you may want to ask for more. The parking lot is tiny but moves quickly. The place is easy to find, plenty of seats, and the staff was very cheery. I didn’t love the mushroom claw but the strawberry cream danish was phenomenal! The place was a bit dark, granted I went as soon as they opened, but I felt it was hard to read some of the pastry cabinet signs. (I have a vision issue so that may be my own issue)
All in all I’m going back and excited to do so! Cannot wait to try more baked goods, their pastry cabinet is beyond incredible, and their standard menu and holiday drinks look wonderful too

I wish i lived locally to get this ALL THE TIME. It feels like its so hard to get fresh baked pastries and good plain espresso. We were shopping and waltzing around Savage Mills and all I could smell was toasted butter and coffee lol.
Ended up stopping there on our way out to grab a plain croissant and a long pour espresso (lots of options btw). The staff were friend, the place was clean and tidy. The croissant was flakey and chewy and just PERFECT. Seriously go here all the time if you can!!!

The pastries looked really great. The croissant was excellent. I wish I could say the same about the coffee or food. The coffee was just brewed and wasn’t even barely warm, and just tasted like brown water. I ordered the Caesar salad the full size. It was big enough to share, added what I thought was a fresh chicken breast on top…….. the chicken was something that was defrosted and disgusting. The croutons were stale as well. Definitely out of a bag and not fresh. I don’t cook but I could have made a better salad. There were a ton of employees, and nobody really went out of their way to be friendly. I did find a coupon in the value pack. Smart for them to advertise as we went in and tried this place for the first time. If you’re serious about coffee and a good salad go somewhere else

Wonderful Experience at Roggenart European Bakery, Bistro & Café!
Roggenart has such a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with a cozy ambiance and a beautiful view that added to the experience.
The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or a relaxing meal, this café is a perfect choice.
I’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of their amazing offerings! Highly recommend!

We happened upon this place as we were walking into the antique mall. We haven’t been to the antique mall since before Covid so seeing the bakery there got us all excited. We are from Connecticut and we were driving home from Washington DC. All we could smell in the antique mall with croissants and butter. So after walking around the antique mall, we had to stop in. As we walked in, we looked at the display and I wanted to get everything. We settled on a ham and cheese, croissant and a croissant with Gruyère cheese and ham. We also got a chocolate Frangipane and an almond croissant to go. Everything was absolutely delicious. It would be dangerous if I live near here because I would be in here all the time.

Best bakery in town!
Location:
The bakery/Café is located in historic Savage Mill. Surrounded by the red bricks, it already gives London vibes and a European atmosphere!
There are tables outside as well as inside the bakery.
Food/Coffee:
Let me tell you: their food quality is AMAZING ! Not only that everything looks very aesthetically but it also tastes delicious !
Price:
Me and my friends spent around 10-15$ per person to brunch there. The price is absolutely reasonable!!
Service:
The team is very friendly and welcoming!
We had a great time at Roggenart European Bakery and we will definitely come back!
Best,
Jamie

I’ve been to the other location in Dobbin and loved it, so I stopped by on a visit to Historic Savage Mills. The food was great I got a salmon avocado sandwich.
The only downside is that the space is quite small with limited seating so it gets packed and really loud. There’s lots of seating outside, however when I went it was bitter cold so options were limited.
