With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

Horrible long wait, 3 servers inside but no one coming out to the line to make it go faster. A good 10 minute wait. Watched 4 cars go through the window on the opposite side before finally giving up and backing out of the drive through. Went to Dutch bros right around the corner and zipped right through.

My favorite place to get coffee. Their cold brews are always done well and don’t have the bitterness some places end up with. Good service, great rewards and coffee that leans more towards coffee flavor and less towards sugar and milk!

So, I haven’t had human bean in years. And here’s why, Today, I spent a total of $14.25, for 2 drinks. (I even tipped 2 dollars!!!) And immediately, after they took my wrong drink order, and I refused my first drink, because she didn’t catch the fact I wanted a blended, vs non blended, SAME FLAVOR. They ask me for an additional $3 for the difference in the drink….post my $2 tip, and right before forgetting to handle my drivers drink out the window. Which was a small.

It’s a drive through drink stand . There whole menu is pretty tasty. My kids love the frozen hot chocolate drinks. We go there often. I’m not a coffee drinker so I stick to the smoothies and hot chocolate section of the menu but I hear the coffee is pretty tasty too

The worst Human Bean in Southern Oregon. The staff isn’t friendly & no one seems to enjoy their job. They act put out about having to work. Not sure what’s going on at this location but it’s need attention from upper management. Happy customers start with happy employees.
