Cuisine on the Green is an upscale cafeteria with table service. It is part of Ocean County’s culinary arts program. The menu changes. I had a crab cake sandwich. It was made with cheese that destroyed the delicate flavor of the crab, and the Texas toast was too thick and thus overwhelming. However, the fresh made chips were fine. My friend had chicken “bowl” with salmon substituted, and she liked it. Service was attentive.

Prime rib was like rubber. Sent it back. There was a big party so the single tables in the bar were neglected. Wait staff was trying but under alot of pressure. I’ve eaten there at least 7 times. I’m not going back.

Always a pleasant experience. The concept of the place is awesome, supporting learning culinary students. But that does not detract from food quality at all. Great beer selection and a menu that isn’t overwhelming, but specials always seem to include something interesting. Friendly staff and attentive waitress when we went.
