With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

The Cline’s crew regularly stops her in the mornings. The staff is always pleasant and kind. This morning there was a mistake on my order, but you all still deserve 5 stars, out of the hundreds of coffees we have ordered this was the only one wrong, EVER. Y’all kick ass, keep it up!

This is my very favorite coffee shop. Every time (which is everyday), the service is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!! All the girls and guys are such honeys. They recommend drinks if you need help and that’s how I found my favorite salty caramel latte with caramel drizzle! Check them out it’s the best!!!!!!

I ordered an iced vanilla latte with 2 extra shots of espresso and extra ice and I got it and it barely had ice and tasted so watered down for being 4 shots of espresso, wasn’t given a receipt so I don’t know how much it cost but typically when I order this anywhere else it’s about $7. The reason I order it like this is because I don’t want a cup full of liquid I want 4 shots of espresso on extra ice with a splash of milk just to suck it down and get on with my day. Way to really get my day started with some bean water that’s not even cold
