With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

The person that took my order tipped herself 3 or 4 extra bucks and I asked for a refund 3 times to the guy who didnt refund my card at all. I wanted a 32 Oz smoothie that says 5.50 on the board and usually comes out to 6 something.. tried to charge me 10 bucks for a smoothie…. apparently she thought she could tip herself and be ok with it but yet not refund me

Over sweet for my taste. I like to taste espresso but this was just like chocolate. I did drink like 2/3 of it on 3 hour drive to El Paso because it was just sitting next to me.

This place come highly recommended to me by my sister. I really enjoyed my Java chip with whip cream , the bacon & cheese egg bites were yummy (I would include a picture of those, however they didn’t make it home lol) and the suggested cake pop was perfect for celebrating my mom’s first heavenly birthday. The staff that I had the chance to meet were amazing in helping me spread some Christmas cheer too. I will be back, the menu of drinks needs to at least be tried once and then have a favorite one picked out

Absolutely amazing! Would recommend 10/10! Great coffee and great service. The barista recommend I add lavender to my frozen green tea and it tasted delicious. The Java chip is delicious as well as the frozen hot chocolate for my little one. Also love the Cha Chai Boba! Will absolutely be returning!

I just order coffee or chi (my fav low cal drink is sugar free chi, light ice) about 24oz is about 100 cal. They make things to order. My husband likes the flavourful (like boba) sodas. Haven’t tried the food. Staff is always amazing.

I don’t know what it is about this human bean but they keep filling the drinks only 2/4 full and adding whip cream to attempt to hiding how full it really is. I’ve been to human bean in Arizona and they definitely don’t steal your money worth, plus waiting in line for 20 minutes for 3 kids drinks??? When we are at the windows while watching you guys just talk and making excuses over a blender issue, no your just talking you didn’t even touch the blender.
